Julia POV:
Kelly and I have been working at 51 for almost 5 years now. I lived with him since I wasn't ready to move out on my own. I heard somebody walk into my room.
" Why aren't you ready we're going to be late." He asked
" for the love of god Kelly knock."
"Come on let's go."
" I'll drive myself."
" no you won't hustle and get your annoying butt downstairs." He said and messed up my hair
" now I'm going to be longer:"
" nooooooo" he groaned
" meet you downstairs shut the door."
At the station...
" sorry we're late everybody but this one had to take years to get ready." Kelly announced
" yes years." I said and Matt came over laughing
Boden came out " well I have an announcement we will be getting a new candidate today for truck 81. Give him a warm 51 welcome as he arrives." He said
" yes sir." Everyone said
Gabby came up to me " so mollys tonight?" She asked
" yeah definitely I'm down."
" don't get too drunk we still have work tomorrow." Kelly said
" it's one or two beers I think I can handle myself." I said
Then somebody walked in and caught my attention. He was handsome. Brown hair, brown eyes and he just had that look that just made you want to... nevermind.
" hello you must be the new candidate. Welcome to 51. I'm Matt Casey Lieutenant of the truck 51." Casey said
" I'm Kelly Severide Lieutenant of squad 3."
Everyone went around saying their names. He shook my hand.
" Julia Severide." I said
" Jimmy Borelli."
We stood there with our hands together for a few seconds.
" alright well why don't we show you around." Casey said and walked with him giving me a look.
" seriously Jules?" Kelly asked
" what? I didn't do anything."
" keep your eyes on the game not the prize." He said and walked away and gabby came up to me "there's nothing wrong with staring at the prize sometimes." I laughed and we walked away. Gabby and Jimmy were going to be switching off days to be a firefighter and an EMT. Since it was his first day it would be the three of us riding.
Ambulance 61 Man down 63 snorkel avenue.
"Come on let's roll." Gabby said and jimmy followed us.
When we got there we saw a different fire company there and one of their men on the floor. We rushed over to him.
" no pulse." Jimmy said
" start CPR. Gabby get me the AED." I said
When I was ready I could tell Jimmy was more focused on what he was doing than listening to me.
" jimmy listen to me." I said putting my hands on top of his "we gotta do this together or it won't work. We have to focus. He's any other patient." I said and he nodded. We did what we had to do and got him to the hospital. When we got to the fire house everyone asked if the firefighter was okay.
" stable for now, send prayers his way." Gabby said and we sat down.
" hey can we talk to you for a moment." Kelly said and I nodded following him and Matt into the locker room.
" what's up?" I asked
" what's going on with you and borelli ?" Casey asked
" the candidate. Nothing." I said
" she just lied straight to our face." Kelly said
" I believe she did." Matt agreed
" come on you guys..."
They started to laugh.
" I'm happy for you kid just be careful." Matt and Kelly both gave me a hug.
"Always am."
We walked out and Dawson and Brett pulled me aside
" what was that about?" Sylvie asked
" hey Jules." Jimmy said
" Jules?" Gabby asked and I just walked away
"Oh my god!" They both chirped when they came to realization."
" I should've became a cop." I said sitting down between Kelly and Matt
" you're stuck with us now." Matt said and I just rolled my eyes.
