This story is for my one true love, call me young, naïve, but I know she is the one. She is fantastic and beautiful, but full of self doubt. She has never failed once to keep me happy. This one is for you Chels. 💙💙💙
This is a slight deviation of a true story of true romance and bloodshed (please note that none - well... most - of the bloodshed actually happened IRL!)

Thomas wasn't his name, but he liked it really. Well, he considered it his name. It wasn't what was written on his birth certificate, but his friends had always called him by his middle name.
Liam Thomas Lansdown lived in a small house in a secluded town in the Cotswolds with his mother, father and brother. The family pet, a boxer dog, was seldom seen as he always took refuge in the huge garden outside. He had been brought up well, two hot meals a day, strict rules and guidelines, strict discipline. The lifestyle he lived had made him grow closer to his mother than his father, giving him feminine qualities and quirky traits.
He had dark brown hair, he was quite tall and had a rather deep voice. At fifteen, he was quite the dreamer. He dreamt every night of finding the one, his dream girl. He lived in a life of solitude, not having been with a girl for well over five years, his lust growing steadily.
He had friends, too. One of which, his closest friend, Mike, he saw every weekend, sometimes twice. He lived in Berkeley, which wasn't too far away but it wasn't close enough for walking to be a viable option.
As one knows, the closest friend is not always the best.
Robert was different, he had met Thomas primarily online, they talked and played games together on a daily basis. Thomas was very happy with his friend, even if they had met only a few weeks ago. He felt happier after meeting him, he reminisced later on that joining Instagram in Easter of 2015 was perhaps the best thing he had ever done.
Of course, Robert had brought his own bag of goodies to the table. He was a renowned artist, drawing works from Five Nights at Freddy's (Thomas looked back on those days gladly as days 'before the fandom went completely Rule 34 cancerous') and undertale when it released in September. Robert wasn't sad. He was a happy kid, his life fully ahead of him. He wasn't a dreamer himself, but he did want a girlfriend.
All good things come out of the blue at some point, like the text Thomas received from one of Robert's admirers.

It simply read, "Hey, I'm Robert's friend. You seem pretty cool :3"
And then Thomas' life changed.
