Another Memory

All the guests have arrived and I am standing awkwardly in a a corner as couples dance on the dance floor. I walk outside onto the balcony that is connected to ballroom. I look around no one is here. I walk towards the edge and look out in the view. I watch the waves splash onto the sand and go back into the ocean. I find it very calming, and there is a calm breeze and it blows my hair back and I love the sound and feeling right now, it feels nice. I don't even here anyone walk outside until someone says my name.

"Cassie?" Prince Logan asks me. I jump a little startled and he chuckles.

"Scared you didn't I?" He says walking towards the edge and leans over and folds his hands together. 

"It must be hard..." He starts saying but trails off. I look at him.

"Not knowing where your from, who you are, and who your family and friends are I could never imagine that" He says, and I look back at the waves then another memory comes.

I am currently on a ship sailing to another kingdom. Father and Mother wouldn't tell me where we were going, since it only affects my older sister Harper and I sigh looking down at my light blue dress, not wearing any shoes. 

There then is a terrible storm rolling in and we are so close to getting to the kingdom but it would be a couple of more hours till we get there. I am nervous that something bad will happen when the storm comes to it's worst point. 

I was right.   

The memory ends.

I come back to reality and look at the waves, and step back from the edge and Logan looks at me worried.

"What's wrong?" He asks me coming closer to me.

"I-I- It's nothing" I say shaking my head and going back to the edge.

"Are you sure?" He asks me raising an eyebrow.

"Yeah...." I say looking out to the waves sadly. That must mean my parents are dead and my sister and anyone on that ship. A tear rolls down my eyes, and I start crying then.

"Cassie...What's wrong?" He asks me worried. I turn and hug him crying onto him, he is surprised at first, but then hugs me back and rubs my back slowly.

"M-my p-parents a-a-and sister a-are d-dead I-I think" I say crying.

"Did you get another memory?" He asks and I nod. He hugs me tighter.

"It must be how you got here" He says to me and I nod in agreement.

"Please don't tell anyone about this" I say an get out of the hug and wipe away my tears.

"Cassie I-" He starts to say, but I cut him off.

"Please, I'll tell your father about it later I'm not ready to talk about yet" I say to him. He sighs.

"Fine....I understand" He says.

"I think I've had enough fresh air" I say walking back inside to the ballroom.

"Oh hey does my makeup look ok?" I ask Logan right before I walk back in.

"You look beautiful, no matter what" He smiles and I walk inside blushing.
