After that noise I was alert. I heard a few cuss words outside my door. I got up from my bed and placed my sketch pad on the bed. I walk out of the bedroom to the living room. I walk to the right to the foyer hall to the door. Before I look through the pep hole I grab a throwing knife from underneath the table by the front door. After hiding it in my secret sheath, that is sowed in my boot I look through the peephole to see that across the hall to see that the door is open. Unlock the door and opens it to see cardboard boxes in the foyer. I walk across the hall after closing my door to stop at the threshold of the door.

"Hello. Anyone here." I yell out.

I hear more cuss words for my answer then see someone quickly walking out from behind he wall on the right. The male was around 6'4, taller then my 5'5 petite form. He had shaggy brown hair with green eyes. He was wearing a white wife beater that shows a strong athletic built.Also gray sweat pants and bare feet. He leaned against the door frame and smirk.

"Hello. Who are you." He ask with a accented southern voice.

"I live across the hall. I heard a bang and was wondering if you are okay. "

"I just was placing a box in the kitchen and it broke." He replied while looking at me weirdly. "My names is Aaron Seraph."

"Nice to meet you. Delilah Silver." Once my name left my lips there was a ringing noise coming from my apartment. "I have to go and welcome to the...whatever. bye."

I turn around and walk back into my apartment while I close it I placed my brown hair with natural red highlights and golden blonde highlights that I get put in every five months. I pick up my phone and answered it.

"Hello.Delilah Silver."

"Hello Miss. Silver. It is doctor Brooks. You have missed your appointment."My therapist answered.

"Oh.I was busy with work and that." I responded coldly.

"Stop by today at three." He ordered.

"I have work to do." I snapped.

"I will call your chief and tell him that you are not coming to your appointment. Do you understand." He threatened.

"I don't give a fuck. You are not my father. You were just shagging up my mother." I told him and hang up.

I walk to my bathroom that is connected to my bedroom and look at my reflection. I have green eyes with a light speckle of brownish gold.Also nice plump and pink lips. I have a slight scar along my left cheek. I look down to see long legs that are covered in black leggings. I have a baggy sweater that is hanging off my right shoulder.

I hear the door open and walk out of the bathroom and bedroom to see my best friend Raeylynn Ximena. She is a black curvy girl. About my height. She has long dark brown hair with light brown extensions init, it lands in the middle of her back. She also has deep dark brown eyes. She was wearing black jeans that are tailored to fit he with a black tee shirt. She also has dark brown combat boots that are shined. She has a hoodie slung on her left hand with her keys out.

She takes off her shoes and throw her hoodie on the back of my white spotless couch.

"Who is the guy shirtless across the hall." Raelynn ask with a sweet voice.

"My new neighbor. Aaron Seraph. Does that sound familiar to you." I ask.

"Yes.Its that one famous guy. The actor you like." She said.

"Oh.That's Williams brother. I thought he looked familiar." I say.Then i smirked.

"Oh no. What are you thinking." Raelynn ask with a scared look.

"William told me he was coming next week." I told her while I walk to the oak coffee table in front of my couch. I pluck up my android phone and dialed Williams number.

"Delilah,not a good time." I hear a breathless voice.

'Stop him.'

'Block his path.'

'Shoot him.'

'Don't kill him. He knows where the girl is.'

After hearing that last line my breath got caught in my throat.
