Time skip to when Lexi is 5 months old __________________________ Carolines POV I woke up to my baby crying I sat up abs poked her up from out of her bassinet her blue eyes locked mine "hi baby bear" I coo she smiles Stefan sat up smiling "good morning my two favourite girls" he said I laid Lexi on his Bear chest she snuggled into her daddy I got up to get her bottle and warmed it up and brought it back upstairs and gave it to Stefan who cradled out daughter as she sipped on the bottle and finished it she giggled we sat on the floor Stefan sat Lexi on her knees and hands and we moved a little far away from her "come on baby bear" I cheered "you can do it sweet pea" Stefan encouraged she started crawling all the way to us Stefan picked her up and blew a big raspberry on her stomach while I cheered "good job baby, you did it, mommy and daddy are so proud of you" I cheered "good job baby bear"Stefan praised while tickling her and she giggled we all got dressed Stefan was in a grey short sleeve v-neck, jeans and boots,I was wearing a floral dress with a denim jacket and flats and my hair was curled and Lexi was wearing a White onesie with flamingos on it,pink leggings and a bow We sat on the ground playing with toys until Damon and Elena came down and picked up Lexi "hi Lex" Elena said while Damon poured himself a glass of bourbon we were all talking when we heard something that shocked us all "dada" Lex said and pointed to Stefan and he was smiling ear to ear and picked her up throwing her in the air and catching her "aww my baby is growing up so fast" I said "yes she is" Stefan said holding her clothes I saw the pain in Elena's eyes she's always wanted a baby maybe they could adopt Elena got up "I gotta go" she said quickly wiping her eyes and running out of the house vamp speed Damon downed his drink and stood up "I'll go find her" Damon said taking off I sighed sitting down as Stefan put Lexi to sleep I felt really bad fir Damon and Stefan soon they caback smiling like crazy and holding a paper "what's up with you to" Stefan asked before I could ask they looked at each-other and smiled "were adopting" Elena said smiling "omg congrats guys" I said jumping up and hugging them while Stefan bro hugged Damon "is it a girl or a boy what does the baby look like" I asked we sat down "okay it's a girl her name is Harper Jane she's 10 months old and was given up at birth" Damon said showing me a picture
