"It really is. I couldn't believe you got so mad over such a small thing."
"Oh my God," I groan, moving Harry's head off my lap. His eyes spring open and he fights to go back to the postion we were at before, but I'm already up and moving.
"Baby, please." Harry says from behind me but I ignore him. My limbs are weak from just waking up. I go into the kitchen, taking a look out the window. It's pouring, not a surprise though, seems like that's the only thing that ever happens in London.
I hear Harry's feet shuffling from the hall, I jump over to the fridge and open it up, trying to make myself look as occupied as possible. I shiver at the sudden draft of cool air, which is also no surprise. I'm always cold, and I think that's because I've lost a noticeable amount of weight since I've left Mike.
It was a mystery to me as to how I've lost so much weight, but only over this past week I realized why. I only eat when I'm hungry, I used to just eat when I was just bored. But now that I have Mason, I'm never bored. He's always keeping me busy and entertaining me, it seems I have no time to eat with him running around. And I just don't feel like eating, not with the sick feeling I carry in my stomach all the time. And I run, which has to do something too, right?
"I still can't get over the fact that Louis drugged you! How are you not as mad as I am?" Harry says from behind me. I pretend to scope out the fridge, but I start to feel sick from looking at the food. I shut the black refridgerator door and turn to face Harry. When I look at his face, for some reason Emma pops into my mind.
I haven't talked to her in so long, I'm clueless as to where she is now. Ever since I've moved back in with Harry, there's been no sign of her. The last time I saw her was when she warned me about Mike. I cringe at the thought of that day, I wish it all could have been a bad dream.
It still makes me wonder how Emma could have possibly known who Mike was and what he looked like. I had no picture proof of him to show her, so how could she possibly have known that was him at the party? Maybe she google searched his name or something, but Emma never seemed like the person to do that type of stuff, to dig into one's past. Maybe I didn't know her as well as I thought I did.
"No, I seriously don't care. Maybe at the time I would have, but it's not worth it to me anymore."
"That's the night I told you I liked you for the first time," Harry changes the subject. "Do you remember that night?"
"I rememeber. If you would have told me then that in three months we'd be dating, I don't think I'd believe you."
"Exactly the reason why I didn't." He jokes. "I still can't believe I like a girl who reads." He comes over and carefully wraps his arms around me, obviously not sure whether I'll push him away or not. When I don't and I'm fully engulfed in his hug, he begins lightly kissing my neck. "Scratch that, I can't believe I love a girl who reads."
I breathe out and allow him to kiss my neck for a few moments, but then he stops and his eyes light up. "Hey, Mason's birthday is next month!" Harry's voice lingers with a hint of excitement. I smile, I cannot comprehend the fact that my little boy will be turning two years old in less than a month.
I remember when he was so small and tiny. I remember the first instance I looked into his eyes. I remember the first time he began crawling, the first time he began walking, the first time he began talking. I remember everything when it comes to him. He's my baby, and the fact he's turning two years old, brings tears to my eyes.
"I know!" I say almost as if I was short of breath. "Are you going to be home for it?" Harry has told me their world tour would be starting in the next few months, I wasn't sure what I would do without him here with us. We haven't talked much about it, and I try to not think about it. Long distance relationships rarely work out, especially when it's with a teen heartthrob.
