Do you ever feel so lonely that it seems like no one cares about you. Like you are the only one in this world. Well, that its my situation right now. I'm here, in sitting down beside the big oak tree with the tree house above me. I haven't talked to Molly since we saw her at Starbucks, which was a week ago. Want to know what happened in that week? Well, let me tell you.....

Two days ago ----

Jason got up from beside me and  held his hand out to help me get up too. "We better go back. Molly might be worried. " He said. I just nodded and took his hand. We walked back to the others just joking around and remembering good memories. When we came back to the others they were already inside and Reese was there too. "I don't think we should go in there......" Jason trailed off. "Why not?" I asked. "I get it if you're in thought mode and you don't want people to disturb" I said immediately after I asked because I don't want to be rude or mean to him right now."No, it's fine, we can just go in..." he said but I could see that he was a bit hesitant. By now the others already saw us probably because we're just outside the door. "You sure?" I asked Jason. I really don't want to put hi. into an uncomfortable position right now. " yeah, I guess...." Jason sighed.

I opened the door and we went in. I walked straight up to their table and sat down beside Reese since that was the only empty seat. Well, there was one beside Molly but Jason is gonna sit there. "Hey guys!" I said cheerfully.  "Hey" they replied. "S'up" Reese said. Molly just kept sending me dirty looks. What was her problem? "Umm El," Nate started off but paused to take a sip of his drink, "You know that guy, what's his name? Oh yeah, Jack. Yeah, he's staring at you and he's only two tables away." Nate finished. "Jack who?" I asked. "I don't know but I know that he's Owen's friend." Nate answered. Ughh I swear, Owen takes stalking too seriously.  I looked behind me and there he was staring at me and talking on the phone and saying to someone to come here. I just smirked at him and turned back around.

"Why did you smirk at him?" Reese asked. "Oh, does Eleanor like someone?" Steph teased. "OH MY GOD!! NO!! Not him anyway, he's ugly!" I shouted, well kind of shouted. "Oh my god! You do like someone because you didn't deny it!!" Steph squeaked. I wonder why is she so happy that I like someone. Oh yeah, because I never tell anyone except Jason and one time I told Nate but he just laughed at me and told everyone. And by 'everyone' I mean just our group, but he nearly told this other girl who is the queen of gossip. So I never tell him my love life anymore. I mean, why should I anyway when I have a crush on his cousin.... That would be really awkward if I did tell him. Not to mention the fact that they look like twins.

"I don't like anyone!" I protested. "Yes you do!" Nate pushed. "Just admit it, we aren't asking you who it is, we're just asking do you like someone." Steph said. Ok, they are not going to let this go. If I don't admit it now, they are going to be bothering me about it for the next decade. I sighed. "Ok, ok, you win! I do like someone but that person never pays attention to me." I said. That's half true. You see Nate's cousin - Jay- he doesn't really pay atention to me unless it's about pranking me or something really embarrassing that happened to me. Why? I don't know, ask him. No, don't do that...

"Why not? Who wouldn't like to hang around with you?" Reese asked. For the first time since I sat down I looked at him. No, more like stared. Yeah, stared. He had this expression on his face that I couldn't put my finger on. I raised one eyebrow, "Well go ask him then." I said. He looked at me, completely dumbfounded for a second,  before replying, "how do I know who it is?"  "That's the point, you won't know." I chirped and stood up to go order a latte.  I walked over to the counter and ordered my latte. While my latte was being made, someone tapped my shoulder. I turned around and I saw a smirking Owen in front of me. "Hi there sexy" he says. I think I'm going to vomit on his $30 shirt right now. How do I know it's $30? I saw him buy it one day. "Ughh, just go away" I ordered but he didn't bother moving.

"Nope," he said. Popping the 'p', "I'm not going to leave you here alone." he winked. "I'm not alone and I'm old enough to buy myself a coffee without you stalking me!" I stated and payed for my latte. "Now, I have to get back to my friends. "  I said and walked away from him. "Why were to talking to Owen?" Reese asked, jealousy clear in his eyes. "He started annoying me first." I said. "You better watch out because if he stalks you then who knows what he could also do?" Nate said. "Yeah..." I sighed and looked out the window. "Hey, El? Can I talk to you?" Molly asked. "Uhmm yeah, sure." I answered and stood up to go after her. When we were further away from the others she began talking, "Listen to me," she growled,  "If you don't stay away from Jason, I'm going to tell everyone that you have a crush on Nate's cousin, Jay. Understand?!" she threatened.  How on earth does she know that?! The only person who knows is Jason. He wouldn't tell her would he? "Well you can't make me, I'm like a sister to him. I don't like him the way you do so there is no need to overreact and tell me I can't talk to him!" I  started raising my voice. She huffed. "Yeah right, I can see that something is going on between you two! I don't care what's the truth, you are NOT allowed to talk to him!" she hissed and walked back to the table.

Present-----

So, that's what happened. If you're wondering, yes, I did talk to Jason. Just like normal. I also told him about what she said but he doesn't really believe me. Or he does he's just not admitting it. I don't know anymore. He keeps hiding his feelings and it's hard to decode them. I swear, these days he is bipolar and I hate that. I turned off my phone and put it on my bedside table. I laid down and felt myself slowly drift off to sleep.
