1: First Encounter

After 8 years...

Red's POV

Hello po! Ako po si Richelle Dollesin a.k.a Red Dollesin. Red for Richelle Elisa Dollesin. I am now 17 and last week was my birthday. Hehe. Mahilig ako sa red stuffs, chocolates, teddy bear, pillows, flowers, soft blankets, necklaces at ano pa. Meron nga akong C na necklace ehh. Hinding-hindi ko siya tinatanggal. Ever! Totoo naman siyang silver kaya walang nangyayari kahit basain.

Nga pala, naglalakad na ako papuntang school ngayon. Isang kanto nalang at nandun na ako. Nakasuot lang ako ng black and white striped sweater, at wool yellow-grey designed na skirt. DelaCruz-Lee Academy. Bago lang naman ako dito. Last year na sana pero lumipat kaya wala ako sa high honors ngayon. Huhu. Pero okay lang naman. Ako ay isang masayahing klase ng tao. Sabi ni mama, masyado daw akong mabait pero, so what? It's better to be too nice than to be devilly bad, right?

Wohoo! Andito na me at--WOAH! Ang laki ng Academy! Mas malaki pa sa malaki kong dating school!! Cool!

Pumasok na ako sa gate at bumungad sakin ang isang malaking soccer field, at garden.

Woah.. Ang laki talaga. Tapos isang malapad na 3-floored building ang tumambad sakin. Mahaba siya. Malaki pero mababa. Cool. Kulay dark maroon ang malaking building.

Naglakad ako sa sidewalk sa gilid ng soccer field at dumiretso sa front entrance. Pagkapasok ko naman, tiled floor naman ang nakita ko. White. All white. Doors are brown, stuffs are white. Pero uniform namin, black. Hehe. Dumiretso ako sa what it looks like the bulletin board at hinanap ang pangalan ko sa mga Grade 10 sections. Section 4-B. Tatlong section lang naman ehh. A, B, C. Pipindutin ko sana yung malaking map pad (touch screen map) dun kaso,

"Ms. Elisa Dollesin, please head to the dean's office. NOW."

Parang nanginig ang buong katawan ko. Someone called me Elisa...again.

Sinunod ko yung mga signs na nagsasabing 'This way to the dean's office' hanggang sa makarating ako sa harap ng isang black double-door. Bongga. Itim. Hinga malalim, ayos damit at buhok,

*knock knock knock*

At tumayo ako ng maayos sa harap ng pintuan. Ilang segundo ang lumipas bago may nagsabi ng,

"Pasok."

Pinihit ko yung door knob at binuksan yung pinto. "Good morning po, Ms. Ako po si...E-elisa Dollesin." Gosh. Matagal kong binaliwala ang pangalang iyon.

"Oh! Good morning. Come in." Tuluyan na akong pumasok at isinara ko yung pinto. Lumapit ako sa table niya at bahagyang tumungo. "Please, sit."

This time, ngumiti nalang ako at umupo.

"Okay. I just wanted to discuss with you the rules and regulations for our Academy."

"Yes Ms. but, you can call me Red. I never get to be called Elisa. Sorry Ms."

"Oh! My mistake. Pardon me. Red, you can just call me Mrs. Lee. Because my name is Caroline Lee."

"Okay. Thank you Mrs. Lee."

~15 minutes later

"You are familiar with the rules now, okay? You have an hour break later and I'll give you the chance to tour yourself in the academy. But, I assigned a person for you. You should come here later and see your tour so he is able to tour you. You locker number is 134 wall 2 and here is your newbie pin. Wear it for the whole week, alright? So they will have the idea of you being new."

"Yes Mrs. Lee and thank you din po."

"Okay. You are now dismissed."

Tumayo na ako at muling tumungo ng bahagya sa harapan niya bago lumabas ng office.
