Kansas: Preview

  It was a quiet night when all hell broke loose. As they say in the movies and television it happened so fast. So fast that no one could wrap their heads around what just happened. He got a call early in the morning and received horrible news. He got up, got dressed , packed and lifted. Not thinking about the girl he was leaving behind. He got on the first flight to go home. The flight seemed like it was taking an eternity. The first place he went when he got off the plane was his parents house to tell him the news. He got to the front step steps of the place he used to call home. He was terrified to see who was going to be on the other side of that door. He took a deep breath and knocked on the door. His little sister Phoebe answered the door. Her face lit up when she saw her brother standing in front of her. She let him in and he sat down on the couch. His asked her if she could wake up their parents. She ran up the stairs and within a few minutes later she walked down the steps with their parents. With a terrified look on his face , he told them the tragic news. All of them reacted in a different way when he said those words. Not a single eye wasn't dry that morning. Everyone hurried up, got dressed and left. They got to the hospital to see the oldest daughter with tubes everywhere to keep her alive. Her boyfriend was sitting next to her with a few minor cuts and bruises. He stood up when they walked into the room, He bowed his head in grief, her father charged at him, pinned him to the wall and yelled, "We trusted you, you said you would take care her and then this happens to her." 

 *The moment her brother walked into that hospital room seeing his little sister lying in that bed. He dazed for the first moment he ever met her. In a hospital room quiet not like that it was filled with more happiness than sadness. He remembered how happy he was , seeing one or the most important person in his life. He remember when his father took him up there the see her and how happy he was. He walked in the scared at first but then saw his mom and started to run up to her. She had his sister in her arms and told him to be very careful. To him that was one of the most proudest days or his life. 

He quickly gets out of his daze to see his father yelling at his sister's boyfriend. He breaks up the argument. Then he escorted her boyfriend and Phoebe out of the room so his parents could have a moment with his sister Kansas. He decided to take Phoebe to school even though she refused to go. The person who pretty much taught her everything was in the hospital possibly dying. He told her before she got out of the car that everything is going to be OK and after school she could go and see her.
