Chapter 10

We sat down at a table for two. The waiter came up.

Waiter: What can I get you two to drink?

Aden: Dr. pepper.

Carrie: Pepsi.

Waiter: Ok I'll be right back.

We talked until the waiter came back.

Waiter: Now what may I get you two?

Carrie: Bacon cheeseburger with fries.

She put the menu on the table and looked at me.

Carrie: Oh and no pickle, onion, or tomato, cooked medium well.

My mouth dropped.

Aden: I'll have a cheeseburger.

After the waiter left I looked at her.

Aden: Wow I'm impressed.

Carrie: By what? Every country girl has to have her bacon.

I just nodded and smirked. She really is perfect.

Aden: Ya I'm just not used to it. Your so different then all the girls but in a very good way.

We kept talking till our food came out. When our food came out she dug into that cheeseburger like it was nothing. She looked up at me.

Carrie: Don't tell me that you're judging me on the way I eat.

Aden: No, no I just..... was .......um..... watching a beautiful girl eat.

She rolled her eyes than finished her burger. I though for a moment. Something had to pull me to have the nerve to try to kiss her. I didn't now what to say so I blew over the question.

When we finished eating we went back to the cabin.

The next morning I walked over where Carrie was sleeping. I pulled back the covers to see my beautiful angel but when I didn't see her, I busted open the front door. Then I heard a scream. I turn the direction it was coming from. I saw Carrie on the front porch swing. She had a scared look on her face and she was looking straight at me.

Carrie: Aden what's wrong!

You could tell by her voice that she was about to cry. She got up and walk to me. I wrapped her up in a hug.

Aden: I...I was.....um looking for....... um ......you. I guess when I didn't see you in your bed I thought the worst.

Carrie: Aww your so sweet. But you scared me, I could have died.

She laughed. We were still hugging. I slowly let go and we sat on the porch swing. She laid her head on my shoulder.

Aden: I love you.

Did that really come out of my mouth. Did I say that, Well its true I really do love her.

Carrie: I love you too.

I let out a big breath.

Carrie: Its ok. You can tell me anything and I won't think it's stupid.

Dang it she felt my relief. Well if that's the way it's gonna be then I like this. She won't judge me on anything and I can tell her absolutely everything.
