"Myra! Myra!" Her roommate called over the pounding music. "Heyyyyy, Cathy! Great party!" Myra yelled over the music, "you're boy toy is here!" Cathy rolled her eyes and wiggled her eyebrows. Myra nodded and took a shot, "I hope he knows he'll be single by the end of the week," she said, Cathy nodded. Both girls dated the same guy and knew how Jake was, so they found friendship through hate and it worked well for the two young adults.
"Hey, Myra, I heard you were gonna be single soon," a dude said, "and?" She asked. "Well, just saying, Cole is down to fuck!" The guy boasted, wrapping his arm around her, "not interested," she removed his arm from her shoulder. "What? Too good for me?" He huffed, getting closer, "hey, she said she wasn't interested, prick!" Cathy yelled at him, he shoved her down, "back off, bitch!" Cole yelled, then grabbing Myra by the arm, Myra punched him in the mouth but he didn't give up her arm. Suddenly, a hand grabs Cole's wrist, holding so tightly, Cole's hand shakes when he let's go. The dark haired man who was lean and a bit shorter than Cole, but held him there with no problem. "I don't think she wants that," an accented voice cut through the music. The three looked at the man, he smirked at the two women.

Cole shrugged the guy's arm off before walking away and grumbling

Cole shrugged the guy's arm off before walking away and grumbling. "Thanks guy, but I didn't need the help," Myra said, "I didn't ask you, did I, darling? I only came here for a beer." Myra broke out a smile and chuckled a bit, "thank you, girls," he smiled at the both of them before leaving. "Did you see that?" Cathy nearly screeched, "yeah," Myra blushed. "Wait, did we even invite him? Where did he come from?" Myra asked, "who cares?" Cathy said, "I'm going to go have fun!" She winked at Myra before running off, Myra was too drunk to argue so she let it go and continued to drink.
Myra continued to mingle, and it was easier as the alcohol started to hit. She decided it was time for bed, as she turned into the hall, she had to rest against the wall. "Are you alright?" The same voice as before asked, "yeah, I'm fine," she said, a wave of dizziness made her close her eyes, breathing heavily. "Are you sure?" He asked, Myra looked up at the man, his bright eyes were the only thing that didn't seem to be spinning, were they changing colors? Myra couldn't keep anything straight. "You," she said, it was the same guy, "I prefer Vladimir, but 'you' works as well," he said as he let out a warm chuckle as he moved hair away from her face, his hand resting for longer than what she could keep track of. "Myra," she said, she didn't want to tell him her name, but it was forced out of her in some way. "Myra," he said her name slowly and touched her face, lightly tracing her jawline. As she leaned into his touch, images flashed through her mind. It didn't feel right and they flashed by so quickly, it made her stomach turn.

"MYRA....!"

Myra slapped his hand away as she seemed to grasp for air. She touched her head, as she tried to move away from him, the hallways were quiet compared to the party, he watched as she tried to leave, "not this time," he whispered. Her vision blurred and she couldn't stand straight. Suddenly, she lost consciousness, and her body slumped into a pair of arms, "I have you, darling."

Lucille rolled around on her bed, when she suddenly woke. Looking at the clock, she saw it was 4 in the morning. Quickly getting out of her bed, she dialed her daughter. The first time, she couldn't reach her. The second time she got an answer. "Myra! Thank goodness I got ahold of you, I know it's late, but I want you to be careful these next few days. I know you think I'm terribly superstitious, but I-," Lucille paused when she heard a quiet chuckle, it was from a male. "Hello, Lucy," the woman's blood froze, "no," she said. "Don't you dare lay a hand on-," she was cut off by his calm voice. "On Myra?" Vladimir smirked, "oh, come on, what do I look like? A monster?" He laughed at his own joke, "oh, wait, that is what you already think of me as, don't you?" He asked, "goodbye, Lucy," he said as he hung up the phone, he gently touched her face.
Lucy quickly dialed another number as quickly as her shaking hands would let her. The phone rang again, "Abraham, we have a problem."
