The HBO series is still in pre-production but there's a teaser made back from 2014 that inspired me to start this. It's like Band of Brothers, only in the sky. Sadly, the Airborne and other soldiers talked of the Bomber and "Air Corps Slobs" like they were pampered princesses, because they were not trained like infantry, navy, marines, or the elite airborne. They were observed in the comforts of the English bases, not in the hell they endured in the skies.
It's no wonder that some of these poor boys went crazy. They had a very low survival rate, worse than even E Company's losses. Terribly sad, and no glory for the sacrifice that was made.
Salute to those who served and I am excited for the HBO series to premiere, hopefully in a year or so <3
