The Return To The Surface

The group of monsters go to the nearest human village and come in subtlely as every human quickly turns their heads towards the quite large group of creatures that have been lost to history. "Humans!" Asgore hollars "We mean you no harm, a long time ago there was a war between our species and the humans won, we were sealed under Mt.Ebbot in a world known as the underground. It required 7 human souls to break the barrier that kept us all trapped. We have been trapped in the underground for years, and for the most of them, disasters struck! the first of which was... my son and adopted human child, they..."  (Asgore  looks hurt as he clenches his chest and continues) "they decided to do the unthinkable, Chara, my adopted human child, ate the poisonous yellow flowers in the underground and got so sick she died, but they had Asriel come to the surface to obtain the last 6 human souls to break the barrier permanently while also going there to give Chara a proper burial... but my dear Asriel, he refused to fight, just wanting to give Chara a proper burial on the surface... he was a peacefull child... but unfortunately, it was so soon after the war that the humans pelted him with pitchforks and knifes but he still refused to fight back... The humans they... they killed him... He stumbled into my throne room and died there on the floor...  Ill never forget his last words...  they were-" (suddenly Asriel appears behind Asgore) "Sorry Dad..." said Asriel (Asgore looks shocked as he turns around to see Asriel) "A-Asriel! I-I thought you were dead! I saw you die!" (Frisk looks a bit nervous as Sans turns to see Frisk) "What is it Kid, you look like you know something about this..." Sans asked as  Asriel butted in "W-well Sans they know because...  I was that yellow flower trying to prevent the barrier being opened... They stopped me but I asked them one final request... to not tell my mom and dad what happened, so they didn't know... I figured they'd be disgusted and hate me... b-but then I realised,  I can't just run away from my problems! I've done it before and all its done is make things worse! So I decided too face the consequences..." (Asgore and Toriel look shocked at this sudden revelation and hug Asriel) "Asriel, We don't care if you were some demon flower, All we care about is that you are alive! We thought you were  dead!" (Asriel  looks relieved and hugs back) "Thanks Mom! Thanks Dad!" (The humans decide they're not a threat and come a bit closer to the strange creatures and looks amazed) "But all this time I was interested in rekindling the war,  until I met this human child,  unlike all the other humans, they didn't want to fight, they only fought when forced to and  they never were, but thanks to them the barrier was destroyed"  (Frisk pulls Asgore's robe and points to Asriel) "A-Actually- I broke the barrier... I still have the human souls from the humans who attacked you dad!"  Asriel says (Asriel shows the souls to Asgore) "Im impressed son! That's something I would have expected from Chara though, they were always unpredictable!" (Soon Asgore and the humans signed a peace treaty and the monsters made their own modern-like town thanks to Mettaton's interest and experience in finding people who can build them and the humans and monsters live in peace, but for some reason, Sans keeps sneaking out every night and going to his secret  lab, working on something under a tarp....)
