The Good, The Bad and The Inevitable

Chapter 1

Author's Note-

HI GUYS!! Welcome to my book! This is actually the first book I've ever written, so I really hope you guys enjoy it! I would really appreciate constructive criticism, and I will try my best to improve and update as much as possible. I have school, so I apologise in advance if I don't update regularly!

It was just a normal Monday morning, I had hit the snooze button at least 25 times and my mom was trying to drag me out of bed. I asked her with a pleading voice, "Please let me stay home! I have a really bad migraine and I probably have like 5 substitutions today." but as always she replied with a single word "NO!". This was a routine for us. I really didn't like school except for 1 thing; more like 3 people! My best friends- Lacey Lachowski, Amelia Bishop and Kaitlyn Landers. We were inseparable! I loved all of them with all my heart and I couldn't imagine my life without them.

I was just getting out of bed, when from the corner of my eye I saw the clock. "Shoot!" I was late again and if I missed my bus this time my mom would murder me! I ran to the bathroom and did all the normal things and rushed out. I let my hair down (which is something I NEVER do), put my lip balm on, Wore a pair of skinny jeans with a cropped sweatshirt and tied my laces to my brand new blue converse and in a matter of 3 minutes I was out the door! I would say that's a record for me considering I'm the one in the house that takes the longest to get ready! I ran to the bus stop as fast as lightening, at least that was what it felt like. I was just in time! The bus came just a few seconds later and I hopped on making my way to the back of the bus to go to my favourite seat.

I was really sleepy so I just slept till we reached school. I hopped off the bus and I saw Lacey and naturally I waved. Lacey is really pretty. She's way edgier than me. She was wearing skinny jeans with a cute crop top and a cream cardigan. She had her ginger  hair in a sleek ponytail with her bangs brushed down her forehead. She was also wearing her favourite black heeled ankle boots and her matching leather backpack. We walked to class together talking about her date with her adorable boyfriend Nate who just happens to be my cousin. I always make fun of how they knew each other since the first grade but only started dating in seventh grade. Even though, she really really liked him, all I could do was squirm because she was basically talking about how hot my brother was all the time. I on the other hand had no interest what so ever in boys because the guys in my school were straight up annoying, and not the cute and funny kind of annoying.

When we reached class, we saw Amelia and Kaitlyn sitting on their tables. Lacey and I went and sat right behind them and started talking about how they all had dates that night and how I needed to get with someone. Amelia was the cutest one of all. She wore really bright colours which  blinded me whenever I saw her. She was the one who kept having serious relationships for like a month and the day after the one month anniversary they would break up. I would know that she broke up with her boyfriend whenever she wasn't wearing something neon.

Currently she was dating a guy named Seth, who was in the homeroom opposite ours. He was muscular and always wore a snapback. It was kind of weird when he showed up at Amelia's house where I coincidently was and he was wearing the exact same snapback as me. Today she had her dark brown locks tied into a french braid, while wearing a cream knee length dress with neon yellow and peach flowers on them and some peach wedge heels.

Kaitlyn was a sarcastic, loyal and serious when needed kind of girl. She was usually always wearing some sort of leather accessory. Whether it was a jacket, pants, shoes or a choker there was always leather. She was the badass Rocker chick in our group.

"Tiff you really need to date someone! I feel guilty of leaving you alone on a Friday night when I'm going on a super hot date with your brother" said Lacey. "Ew, can you please stop saying that word! I do not look at my brother that way!" I responded. Lacey was giggling like the hyena that she is. All I could do was scowl at her before the bell rang for first period- the deathly period. Maths :(
