It's been 16 years since the scorch that killed my parents. A scorch is when the sun shoots out a heat wave that melts the earth. only a few million lived soon after the human race built a sphere around mars but many people were left to die on earth. Now people kill each other to survive on earth.
My name is hunter I'm not sure of my last name I never knew my parents I was an orphan at 2 years of age and I was never adopted. When I was 3 the scorch happened now I am 19 years old and I have killed 18 people.
Two people took me in after the scorch when I turned ten they tried to kill me so I grabbed my gun and shot them. One of my guns is a sniper that shoots up to one mile with good aim the other is a pistol that can shoot very far with good aim.
I have been fighting since I was 11 I found an old master of mixed martial arts and in sword fighting I have been training for eight years. I've killed 5 people with my sword 10 with my sniper and 3 with my pistol. I am in LA making my way through maybe I can find a place to rest for the night.
I have found an old hotel when I went in I was attacked by some bandits there were 5 of them one had a smg the other 4 had some bats the first one swung his bat I pulled my sword out and blocked it then I grabbed his arm and put my sword to his neck.
They backed down then I started to walk and one came from behind me and hit me with the hilt of the gun next thing I knew was I was put in a cage and was trapped, lucky for me the one with the smg and the key was on garde.
They didn't check my shoe and I still had my knife and so I told him because it was no use to me he came and grabbed it from my hand and as he did I grabbed his head and slammed it up against the metal cage he was onconchents and I had the key to let myself out. I grabbed the gun and I started out when one tried to stop me I shot him in both his knees.
Then the others came running and I shot the rest of my bullets into the first one that came running with my swords then I grabbed the swords. The other two came with my pistol and sniper and there bats they swung at me I blocked them and knocked their head together. I quickly made my escape with my pistol and sniper then I got in an empty house and boarded it up and made a pallet to sleep on.
While I was sleeping I saw my mom and dad then I saw a man come in and shoot them and that is when I woke up. There was a man knocking he just said that he was friendly and he saw me take down those bandits and he wanted to be my friend and by the look of it he know how to survive.
I let him in and he said that he knew my parents he said that they were good people and they were respected people. He went on and on about how much I look like my father. About an hour later we head out while we were walking some guy yelled that's the man that killed all of our men get him.
He and I got back to back and there were like 20 of them and they all came at the same time. He grabbed one of my sword. We fought them one by one. Then one went at him and he cut his arms and knocked him on the ground in the blink of an eye.
Then I grabbed one and cut his leg and kicked him down and by time I did that he had knocked out all the rest and didn't even have a cut on him. About two hours after that we spared and before I knew what happened I was on the ground with my pistol to my head.
He helped me up and showed me an amulet he said that it slowed down time.It mad sence how he didn't have a cut and was able to take all of them out. In the matter of secants. So after staying in that house for a while with a trapped set we went and checked it.
When we did we saw a kid lick 13 or 14 siting there. When we found him i jumped in to get him out and in handcuffs he pulled out a revolver and put it to my chest and grabbed a knife and put to my chest I grabbed the revolver from his and and grabbed the knife with my other hand and hit him with the hilt of the gun.
We managed to get him out and tied up. Than he woke up we ask who he was he said his name is Slade. He was only 14 trying to survive in this wasteland.
