Chapter 1:Surprises (Erika's P.O.V)

I walked slowly down the street as the cold Canadian air bit at my skin. My friends Lillie Linden and Kayla Smith are both reading the Twilight series again we all have read that series a million times but we love it still . it surprises us every time no matter how many times we read it. "Where Are we going," I asked shoving my hands in my pockets.
"You'll see when we get there now shush I'm almost done the last Chapter," Lillie said mock annoyed.
"We have all finished that book already, come on at least give us a hint," I pleaded
"No it's a surprise now shhhhh," she replied returning to her book.
"Fine, but hurry up I'm cold,"
She finished Eclipse for the millionth time, shoved her book in her bag ,and sped up till she was almost in a jog.
"Better?" She asked sarcastically
"Yes," I answered rolling my eyes. I
• After a few more minutes we arrived in front of a beautiful building with a stunning sign written in calligraphy. The sign read "Mr. Lindens Library" .I wondered why such a magnificent building was hidden from the rest of the city. It took an off trail hike with a bunch of twists and turns just to get here; The library that looked like a small castle . The hidden part still puzzled me "Here we are!" Lillie exclaimed leading us in through the ornate door
"wow" me and Kayla said in unison Kayla started to wander around well I scanned the shelves many books were there one caught my eye especially though it was Breaking Dawn I started towards it then out of no where a man stepped in front of me almost tripping me in the process .I looked up to see a boy who looked to be in his late teens early twenties, he had blue eyes and chocolate brown hair with bangs almost in his eyes "Please don't touch those books" he urged
"Who are you?" I asked
"He is Caleb and he's the librarian here," Lillie Explained appearing beside Caleb "Yes I look after the books for Mr.Linden,"Caleb stated before Lillie could interrupt again
"Ok? I'm just going to go grab a book and,"
"No!"Caleb exclaimed almost yelling
"Don't open those books Caleb warned frantically . I Ignored him and walked around; I grabbed the book, then poof. He warned me about the books, but it was too late.
