Colorless

Once I was able to think of tomorrow,

It was bright it was bold it was new,

Then the day came where everything crumbled,

Tomorrow became distant as thunder,

Life faded light faded color grew grey,

That's all when my life faded away.

Colors have drained and so has my spirit,

Lights gone away and I don't dare go near it,

The noise in my head bangs away all the day,

The world is a coffin where I now lay,

Close the top upon my cold body,

Leave me to die in the world all alone.

Scars on my body I'm broken and bruised,

My heart is in pieces across the floor bleeding,

My mind and those pictures are forever fused,

My time runs thin and quickly is fleeting,

Where is the one who promised to save me,

He's left me alone to die here myself.

Everything's crumbled and my life is over,

Nothing to live for no one to love,

Cold and grey without color or warmth,

Goodbye to you all I will miss you greatly,

Meet me in Heaven I'll see you there soon,

No need to cry, my pain is over.
