[Morning, 7:00 am)----DING DING DING DING DING--
I looked at my alarm- time for ballet practise. I reluctantly got out of my soft warm bed and headed for the bathroom. As I walked inside, strands of my tangled blonde hair fell beside my eyes. I took a shower and started on making myself look decent and graceful; I was planning to be a ballerina after all and it was important that I looked the part too. I stood infront of the mirror, and started putting my wavy, hopeless hair in a braid- strands kept falling out so instead I did a tight bun. I put my leotard on and ballet shoes, then went inside my bedroom. My sister, Fran was awake and did not look happy.
'' Ballet practise? Again, Violet? Why do u have to do it so early?!??!' Fran complained.
''You know why, if I want to do well in my audition to be chosen and be able to go to the Riverside Ballet Academy and train to be a professional ballet, I need to work hard because Its not going to be easy- I need to go to this scho-'
'' Yeah yeah, sorry, I forgot how much this means to you, I'm sorry ok? I know you're gonna get chosen, you're amazing at ballet and you already work sooo hard''
''Its not enough, I need to work extra harder to get a place there''
Before she could speak, I switched on my ballet music and started stretching my legs. Then I started to practise en pointes and began doing crois devants and other complicated ballet movements.
------------
After a long 2 hours, I got dressed into my normal clothes and went downstairs. My twin sister, Fran, my younger sister, Lauren, my new step-sister, Ellie and -surprisingly- my big sister, Taylor were sitting around the kitchen table. Taylor rarely came downstairs, she mainly stayed in her room or went out with her friends. She used to be so friendly and confident, I used to look up to her- not so much now. When Dad left us 2 years ago, Taylor frequently had tantrums and shouted at everyone, she blamed Mum a lot for when Dad left, i didn't understand why Taylor wasn't over it because everyone else was- it happened and we couldn't do anything about it. Taylor was even worse when David and her daughter, Ellie moved in, Mum and him got married and now we're a family. I really enjoy having Ellie and David around, they're really nice and i find them fun to be around. Although, Taylor doesn't think so- she never liked David and she didn't like Ellie from the start, plus Taylor's ex-boyfriend, Luke is now dating Ellie; apparently Luke was always with Ellie in our old caravan in the middle of the night then soon they were dating.
''So what do you need to tell us? '' asked my little sister, Lauren.
''Well, your mum and David have had some chaotic weeks to get through, also they are a married couple. Me and your Grandad Ron, think they deserve a little break-so...We're sending them off on their honeymoon in Peru for 3 weeks!'' Grandma May said.
''Peru?! We can't leave, what about all the orders? Who's gonna sort the payments out and-'' Mum said
''Don't worry, we'll look after everything, anyway its all planned, i have the tickets- you're leaving on Saturday'' explained Grandma.
Mum looked at me, i knew what she was going to say, ''Violet, you do know this means i cant support you in the audition because we come come back a day after the audition, but i know you'll do amazing '' I was very sad at hearing this- i did not want Mum to leave and go to Peru- but being the kind daughter i was, i said i was going to be fine and that I'd invite Grandma May to come.
Sorry this is so long, i hope u enjoyed part 1 (: not much is happening yet.
