Stiles Stilinski.
That's the name she's been thinking about ever since she woke up today. Lydia Martin sighed, wondering why he was always there, no matter how much she tried to shake him off.
It shouldn't come to a surprise how much impact Stiles had on Lydia's world. But that's the key word: had.
They haven't talked since summer and she wouldn't want it any other way, even though her heart (and friends) screamed the opposite words. Lydia stubbornly refused to hear it.
"Here you are!" Malia Tate huffed as Lydia gave her a tiny smile. "I've been searching for you all day!"
Lydia shrugged. "Library work. What's up?"
"Well, there's this party tonight.. And i was hoping-"
Without any hesitation, Lydia muttered "No."
"You didn't even let me finish! It's Isaac's. you know? The boy i've had crush on since forever?"
"You know i don't do parties, Mal." Lydia sighed. "Besides, i'm gonna stay after school hours today, got some extra work to do."
"You're no fun."
"But you love me anyway." Lydia winked as she scurried off to her next class, thanking god today was the last day of school before winter holiday starts.

Lydia Martin.
That's the name that never left Stiles's mind, she was everything he wanted. And everything he couldn't have.
Stiles Stilinski sighed, peering above Scott's shoulder as the strawberry blonde was talking to Malia. Her long hair escaping her bun and making her look even more adorable than ever.
She was smiling and something inside him clenched. I miss her. I left her.
"Dude." Scott looked at him. "You okay?"
He laughed. "Yeah, Why wouldn't i?"
"Nothing, you just seem.. Off."
"Don't worry about it." He shrugged. "So, Isaac's party tonight?"
"Yeah." Scott's eyes lit up. "Do you think Malia is coming?"
"I guess, i mea-"
"Hey you." A feminine voice interrupted them, Stiles turned to see Allison Argent. The Allison Argent.
"Uh- hi." Stiles grimaced at how awkward that came out.
If Allison noticed, she didn't comment. Instead, she placed a chaste kiss on Stiles's lips and grinned widely. "See you tonight?"
"I don't think i'm going to go.." He trailed off. Especially with you.
"Oh." Her face fell, but she regained her composure by smiling again. "Alright, see you later i guess."

It was nearing 9pm, and Lydia was still at school. She just finished packing her things when she heard Kira's voice.
"Lyds!" Kira's black hair came into view. "Everyone already left, but can you lock up the library for me?"
"Yeah, no problem." Lydia said as she walked through the halls, stopping when she heard a voice.
"What the f-" she whispered before she was whisked away and pressed against someone.
"Lydia, it's me. Please don't scream." The boy whispered, still holding Lydia tightly against him.
"S- Stiles?"
