Prologue

"... It was then his horse have decided to reject him from the saddle and abandoned him in the woods as he fell down a long narrow hill. When he landed in the bottom, he felt like passing out, but there was something that kept him awake... It was a pack of Vinewolves! All surrounding him with there long, sharp, daggered-like teeth and their bloodlust on the run, he tried to scream but all he could do stare in frozen terror. It was then a bright blue Vinewolf had appeared..."

Gasp

The young boy awoken from his slumber, he sat there panting and sweating from the recurring dream he has lately. He looked around and find that he was all alone, the other young boys didn't woke him up for breakfast......again.

"Great..." he sighed. "can't they just give me a break for once..." he got up and got dressed, he walked out with the clothes the maid had given him years ago as a present. He walked to the closed door and took a deep breath.

"My name is Hope......my name is Hope......my name......" he said to himself with anxious feeling in his mind.

He open the door and walk to the cafeteria.

It was a large cafeteria that can fill all of the orphans in the orphanage. Hope looked around for a seat to sit in. As luck was running thin, his good red-headed friend came to the rescue.

"Yo Hope! Over here!" the red-headed kid called out.

Hope looked over and filled with both glee and relief, he went toward him and planted himself into the seat. "Hey Steel, how you feeling?"

"Pretty good. Pretty good. How did you sleep?"

"Not good..." said Hope.

"let me guess..." Steel said. "That ghost dream?"

"It wasn't a ghost, Steel!, it was... well... i don't know... a spirit?"

"Which is a ghost." Steel smirked as he ate his breakfast.

"Shut up Steel..."

"Ha... oh hey! It's Clarity!"

Hope looked around bashfully. "WHERE?!"

They both looked toward the entrance of the cafeteria and saw her. She has bright orange hair, with light pale skin, she's not like one of those girls that kills their appetite for beauty, she was regular, she was normal, to Hope, she was spectacular. She had worn the sweater her father gave to her when she was young, before her father went off to sea, along with that, the skirt the maids had given to her when she first entered the orphanage. She gathered her meal and went off to find a seat.

"Hey Clarity! Over here!" yelled Steel.

Hope darted at him and said, "Dude! Why you do that?!"

"Because. It's funny how you acted stupid to her." he smirked.

"Not funny..." said Hope. As he turned his head, he already see her in front of them, standing by the edge of the table. "H-HI! uh...! I-i mean, heeey..." his voice cracked and he coughed.

Steel laughed while Clarity giggled with a soft smile. "Good morning Hope, Steel. How do you do?"

"Very good!" Steel laughed.

Hope gave Steel a punch in the arm with all his strength, which didn't phased through him. He just kept laughing at poor defenseless Hope, making him feel more embarrass than he already have.

"Well, that's great that you two are well." said Clarity. She was about to sit in the seat until the raging bull, known as William, her boyfriend, came walking toward their table. He'd knock over Steel's breakfast and splattered Hope's oatmeal all over his blue head.
