I woke up to the sound of my sister screaming. This wasn't a normal assurance as my parents would usually handle it before any of us would wake up. I was the only guy within a family of 6. I was 17 years old, I had 3 sisters aged 12, 8 and 4 and I had both my parents. I waited a bit to see if at least one of my parents would run to her aid, but they didn't. I grabbed my bat from under my bed and walked into my 4 year old sisters room (which was the sister that is screaming) and walked up to her and I asked "hey little sis what's wrong?" She points to the door and says "there was a man standing there... a... scary man." I get her out of her bed and pick her up to take her to our parent’s room. I put my sister down to turn on our parents lights for their room to find that they didn't work I grab my torch from the cabinet just outside of our parents room I shine the torch on their bed but all I saw was a messy bed. I’m confused, where could they be? I look in their bathroom room and I couldn't see them. I looked into their wardrobe but still can't find them. I put the light up to my face to look for the button that makes the light wider. While the light was shining upwards a reflection shone in my eyes I look up and what I saw still haunts me today. It was my parents with their heads cut off and there body's duct taped onto the ceiling. I feel a tear going down my cheek. I’m so scared. What happened? I wipe the tear from my face and try to act normal. I turn around and go to my sister. I tell her “come on we'll go check another room”. I got into my 8 year old sisters room and I see she was sleeping. I go into my 12 year old sister’s room I see her also sleeping. I tell my 4 year old sister "I'm gonna take you to your room and put you to bed so I can look for mummy and daddy. Ok?" She nods her head. I tuck her into her bed and she signals me to come closer and she whispers "there is a man at the door I think its daddy." I said "ok is he still there" she said "no he just left. I think that it was daddy that I was scared of before" "Ok" I said "I'm gonna go talk to dad. Go to sleep" I kiss her forehead and leave to go check out who it was as I know that it was not my dad as this 'man' was probably the one who murdered my parents. I walk into my lounge room to find nothing. I slowly and quietly move to my sisters rooms. First I go to my 12 year old sister’s room as it was closest. I check around first and see nothing. I shake her to wake her up that's when I see the blood all over her pillow case, I see her neck. It, it's been cut. I'm not going to let him kill anyone else, I can’t. I go to my eight year old sister’s room and see her hanging upside down from the roof. I look down and see her eyes they were crying blood. I run to my 4 year old sister’s room and thankfully she is ok. I choose to stand next to her bed to protect her. Everyone his died because of this guy. I pull out my phone to call the police and before I can dial the number. I fall to the ground. Not exactly fall, it’s more like someone or something pulled my ankles. I try to get back up as fast as I can, but I can’t... I try using the bat as help but I still can’t. I feel a sharp pain in my ankles, I look at my feet and they start to hurt heaps. There’s just one problem though...  I can't see my feet. Instead I see little stubs of bone meat and lots of blood. I scream and cry, I manage to get up using my bat and sit on my sister’s bed. I turn to see my sister but she was dead and still had the killer’s blade in her head. That's when I see him, the silhouette of the man who is responsible for all of this. He lashes out and tries to grab me. Just as he gets face to face with me he stops instantly, our noses millimeters away from each other’s but just stops. He stays there for what seemed like forever. I was still unable to make out any facial features or anything, but all I saw was a black silhouette. I’m so scared for my life. While we are just waiting there, waiting to die the moon light shines in. I can now see the murders face, millimeters away from mine. What I saw made no sense this man had the face of my dad. I’m confused I saw my dad before he was dead. I somehow bring up the courage to say “Dad?” It lets out a high pitched scream and I close my eyes and block my ears because of how loud it is. When I open them he’s gone, vanished. I’m so scared, I’m having trouble breathing. I fall to the ground crying because I’m in so much pain and my heart is pumping so fast that it feels like its gonna come out of my chest. I grab my phone from the ground where I dropped it before and called the paramedics and the police, it wasn’t long till they got here. As they come I feel dizzy and pass out. I wake up in the hospital as a nurse walks in and says “oh good your awake. Now you’ve lost a very large amount of blood so you’re gonna have to stay here for a few days so we can keep an eye on you. I’m sorry about your feet we were unable to fix them, and I’m so very sorry for your loss’s. After a few weeks they discharge me from the hospital.  I live my life without seeing the man again. I'm now in a wheelchair, I live my life without any feet. I live with my friend now; I'm 28 years old with a very good job and a girlfriend. My life got a bit better after that fateful night.
One night after work I was sitting on my bed texting my girlfriend when I hear wind seeping through the window so I get into my wheel chair and go close the window properly but find that it is and all I see is a man on the other side of the window, barring my face staring at with an evil grin at that moment I knew it was that thing from that night, I knew that it was all over. I look down at my phone and type to my girlfriend saying ‘I will always love you’. As I press send I hear my window open…
