Underneath

The School

After moving in, I had Sunday to un pack all my stuff into an okay sized room. Not too big not too small. By the time Monday came around I was not ready for school. All new friends? I'm too quite I'm not going to make any.
"Evelyn!! You're going to be late! Let's go!".Of course my mother is screaming at me this early.
Thankfully my parents got me a car for my 16th birthday, just an okay Mitsubishi Lancer. No clue what year I'm not a car girl.
"Mom relax I'm driving" I say as I'm getting ready, I'm not impressing anyone so I went with the regular just plain black jeans, a band T Shirt from the Iron Maiden concert I went to last summer and light makeup with my shirt straight hair just in a hair tie.
I go outside and get ready, no breakfast for me, my mom was right I was too late for any food. Ugh I was so hungry. Apparently there's a new Starbucks by my school so I'll go there
I arrive to the Starbucks and get a Vanilla Frap with a Chorizo egg sandwich. I hate when they say Chorizo, like come on. Don't say it if you can't say it properly.
I finally arrive at school and it is a total hell hole. I find a parking spot that was empty since everyone is in first period and I get out to see a bunch of dudes in black leather jackets walking towards me.
"Hey cutie what you doing late" I turn around to see what looks to be a grade 9 trying to fit in with the older "bad boys" who aren't intimidating me at all.
"Suck a dick, peace" I heard all the guys go "OOOHHH" and then I walked away not staying for more talks.
I go to the office and she a 60 year old lady who looks like she has 100 cats at her desk.
"Hello? I'm new. I'm Evelyn I need my schedule." I just stood there for a bit, maybe she's deaf. Finally she noticed me.
"I'm sorry dear, nowadays my hearing isn't that well. Here, welcome to the school, I'll call a student director down for you" Great I get someone to "show me around" as they say.
After she makes her call I see a girl walk in.
" OMG HI IM AURORA! IM SO EXCITED TO SHOW YOU THIS SCHOOL" Oh my Jesus someone save me. This is going to be hell.
"Hi, I guess so, I'm Evelyn let's get started"
Long story short she showed me to my classes. Once she shows me to my locker she got really quiet.
"Omg look, that's James Mikos. Andrew Mikos younger brother." As if it supposed to know who that is.
"Who's who now?" Honestly this girl is so annoying.
"Andrew Mikos used to go here. He's the bad boy basically. No one messed with him and no one still does. That's his younger brother. He's following his brothers footsteps." So she's obsessed with bad boys. I don't see the big deal.
"Alright well have fun, I'm going to be late to my classes I'll see you around..... Aurora? Hello?" She was staring right at James. Honestly girl you look so beg, but I'm not rude so I'm not saying that out loud.
"Yes totally whoops sorry, after school meet me here, we can drive to my house. There's a huge party going on downtown tonight we have to go!" I'm not a party girl but I can give this a try I guess.
"Alright cool bye." And off I went. Welcome to my final year of high school!

So I don't really have a big idea of where this is going, I look at Evelyn and see a bit of myself so I'm probably going to bring in issues I have in high school to make this more realistic!
