"Aaron? Are you in there? I need to talk to you."
Aaron stands up and walks over to his door to unlock it. "Kyle. I told you to leave me alone." Aaron says annoyed. "Look Aaron, Its been a month and you still haven't payed your half of the rent. I understand that you're still upset because of Luci, but that doesn't mean you can skip work and not pay rent." Kyle sounds even more annoyed. "Look Kyle, I'm sorry that i haven't pay-" Kyle interupts him "Aaron, I can't take anymore excuses from you. If you don't pay your rent the end of the month, i'll have to kick you out. I'm sorry." Kyle walks away. "Great. How am I going to get the money to pay for my half?" Aaron walks back to his bed and falls face first onto his bed. After his ex-girlfriend Luci broke up with him, it affected Aarons entire life. He was so devistated that he stopped going to work, which cost him his job. Aaron didn't seem to mind though, the only thing on his mind was her. Now he's over it but he's still in pain after losing her. The only person who's stood by him was his friend Willow. Suddenly his phone buzzed. It was Willow. "Willow? Why are you calling me?" "Hello Oscar the Grouch." She joked. "Ha Ha, very funny. Why are you calling me?" "I'm calling you to see if you want to join me at Brian's party tonight." Aaron went silent. "Brian? Why would i want to see him? After what he did to me?" he thought to himself. "Aaron, I know you hate him after he stole Luci from you, but you can't avoid your problems forever!" "Yes, I can. I'll just hide in my room forever." "Aaron..." Willow said annoyed. "Anyway, Willow why are you going to the party? I mean is your family cool with you going to a party when you're basically dieing?" Aaron asked. Willow went silent. When she was six she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, this caused her to miss a lot of days of school. "Aaron please come with me... You need to get out of the apartment and out into the world again! Maybe you'll find someone like Luci! Then you'll be happy again!" Willow was begging. "Look Willow, you know that there isn't going to be anyone like Luci out there. We both know I will never find anyone like her because I don't want a girl like her... I want her. I want to love her but i know she won't love me back. So what's the point?" Willow was speachless. Aaron had realized what he said "Willow? Willow, please forgive me, I didn't mean-" "If you decide to come text me." Thats all she said before she hung up. Aaron put his face in his hands then looked around his room. "Is this really the life I want? Stuck in a room forever?" Aaron was lying down in his bed now. He looked at his phone to check the time. It was 10:45 PM. "Willow..." he thought "I'm so sorry..." He fell asleep thinking about what his life would be like if he was still with Luci. Suddenly his phone went off. It was Willow again. "Willow?" "Aaron! Get dressed and come outside of your apartment right now!" She sounded like she was panicking. "What's going on?! Willow?! Are you okay?!" "Aaron please just come outside." Aaron started to panic but he followed Willow's instructions. He ran as fast as he could out the door and outside his apartment building. He stood outside in the moonlight but there was no sign of Willow. He pulled out his phone and checked the time. It was 3:14 AM. His phone buzzed. It was Willow again "Willow, was this just a joke? You shouldn't joke like this, I was worried." "Hold on. Give me a second!" She hung up. Suddenly a car pulled up where Aaron was standing. "What?"
