The one and the only

INTRODUCTION

Once upon a time, there was a girl, a little cherubic one seeking here and there for a job with a good salary just to save her precious mother from imminent death but to her dismay, no one accepted her because of her age. they needed someone more reliable than her.

never mind but the fate put itself in all of that and played its game which was based on taking her mother's soul away.

after all her hard work that she exerted to rescue her mother. the fate decided to walk against her and make her more miserable than ever before.

when the funeral began there was no one out there to grieve about the mother's death but her daughter. which made the miserable girl cry even more.

how unfair this life can be! she huddled up in the corner of the room. she all of sudden had goosebumps running down her back.

someone she had no clue about was standing behind her . she closed her eyes tightly, afraid of getting hurt and hoping he or she would go away if she did.

Chapter 1

Jadwiga swept into the class without looking at anyone. she sat carefully

on her chair , adjusting her hair after running all that distance to school .

all the eyes were on her for instant , then turned to the angry face of the

teacher , who was gonna say something , in the end , she chose not to . because she knew better than to quarrel with her .

after while Jadwiga couldn't help drifting off in the middle of that lecture .

it was so hard not to sleep in her class . when the class ended , Jadwiga woke up feeling better .

she got up to prepare herself for the next class . she put the book in the locker and took another one .

while she was walking off , someone called her out making her turn and look at him .

he accosted her and grinned ' want a ride home after school , today '

Jadwiga shifted slightly and looked up at him skeptically

' it is unusual you offer me a ride home . what on the earth is going on '

he inspected her from head to toe for moments and ran his fingers through his hair . he was thinking whether to tell her or not . she would end in tears , if he did . so he relented , instead , he smiled and said nothing . telling her wouldn't make it any good . he had to postpone it to another time .

at the end of the day Zoe dropped Jadwiga home .he didn't know why he had done that in the first place , in the end , he didn't inform her but he did much worse than that anyway .

making her grasp what was going on was probably arduous task to do . the eyes tell better than the mouth does .

he has just opened the door to her to perceive what was waiting for her . he dropped her and drove off not that far in case something would betide .

Jadwiga had rung the doorbell but got no answer so she whipped the key out of her bag and opened the door.

while she was marching down the hallway to her chamber. she heard her host father and mother argue.

she couldn't make out what they were saying, so in an attempt to hear them she drew closer, and when

she did she wished she hadn't done that because they were talking about her, not in a good way either.

' I can't stand her I get pissed off whenever I see her . she is boring and useless she doesn't know even how to eat, wear or even behave properly.
