Tokyo Ghoul Kaneki & Hide: Troublesome Love

Chapter One: Starting Out

Kaneki POV

The morning sun rose above the horizon and slowly streamed on my face forcing me to move and wake up. I sat their looking at the ceiling thinking of what I had to do today because I had a gut feeling it was really important. What was it? I slowly rose out of bed turning to look at the clock. Still feeling too groggy to even keep my eyes open in that moment.

-11:00 AM-

"Holy crap I was supposed to meet up with Hide today" I quickly rushed to shower and get ready before making my way down the steps to the kitchen. "I should grab something quick but what?" I quickly grab a cup of ramen and start to prepare it. "Hide will understand if I'm a few minutes late, I mean a person has to eat."

I grab my phone to check the time. "How did I miss a call from Hide I've been right here the whole time." I go to my contacts to find Hide's number and press it to call.

-ring--ring--ring--ring--click-

"Why would he reject my call I really hope he's not mad at me. If I hurry maybe I'll catch up to him." I quickly slurp down my ramen and just keep thinking to myself. "Please Hide I'm just a little late please don't be mad at me, it's still early in the day and he's my only friend. I can't lose him, I-I just can't right now"

Just as I finished I ran to the door grabbed my keys and wallet and flung open the door. I quickly walk out and lock the door and as I turn to walk I see someone standing seeming to have been waiting for something or someone. "Is that H-Hide? HIDE!!!!" I yell loudly to get his attention. The body turns to look at me and seems to be coming up way too fast for comfort. I bring my hands up to attempt to block any force that may come my way.

After a second I felt nothing, I slowly look up to see Hide smiling and looking down at me with what looked liked tears in his eyes. "Ka-ne-ki, there you are, What were you going to leave me by myself with no explanation." He then pulled me close to him and tucked my head in between his shoulder and neck.

"Oh Hide, I would never leave you."

Hey guys as I've explained in the description this is my first fanfiction. I never really got in anime until 5 months, when I went through some personal stuff. Tokyo Ghoul was the first anime I watched and got really attached to the series and grew to love Kaneki and Hide. I couldn't help myself and had to write a fanfiction of them being together. I know this is under mature but the naughty stuff won't really start until I feel the characters have really interacted with each other in a way that reminds me of human comfort that is longed for. It shows the power and influences I inflict as to make characters feel alive in ways of my own imagining and enjoyment. Anyway I'm open to any criticism about my writing and where the story should go and when is the right time to let the smut go and take over.
