May 6th 6:00 A.M
Beep Beep beep beep, I hit the snooze button in my alarm clock as I roll onto my back. It's another day of hell and I am highly not prepared for it. Maybe today will be good, or at least better than most. I take my mom's car to school and just about everywhere else I go. It's not like she needs it, she never leaves the house.
I pull into the schools student parking lot and eye a perfect place to park, not too far not too close. As I begin to pull in a black Lamborghini pulls into my spot. MY spot. Not only did they take MY spot but they also almost totaled the front of my car in the process. I find a parking spot way farther from the school than I prefer, but I guess I could use the exercise. The warning bell rings as I enter the doors. I head to my locker as many people stare at me. Most people would think that there was something on their face or something wrong with their outfit but this is an every day thing and there's nothing on my face or wrong with my clothes.
There's a group of girls in a corner near my locker and I hear them begin to whisper as I put in my combination. I glance up to see them staying at me. They quickly look away as if they were never looking as they laugh and look at me again. Girls are so stupid. They look at me again as one of the girls says something and they all start to laugh as if what she said was the funniest thing in the world, which it probably wasn't. I gather my books and shut my locker. I walk to my first class with my head down.
A hand slaps my binders and they fall to the floor along with my phone. I look up to see that the muscular arm is attached to Tyler. Tyler is one of the meanest people I know. He's the biggest bully on the planet and he hates me. "It should've been you." He says as he shoves me into somebody open locker. I stumble into the edge as my arm scrapes across the sharp edge. Tyler steps on my phone with a crunch and looks at me evilly. "Oops." He says before walking off. The guy whose locker I fell into doesn't bother to help me up instead he laughs. Douche waffle. Tyler wasn't always mean. He became like this when Abby died. They were dating and he seemed to care for her a lot and I guess now he's just taking it badly. Everyone stares at me as I gather my books and my shattered phone. I head for the nurse and pray she won't try to play twenty questions.
"Hi." I say sweetly to the nude at the desk. "Hello what can I do for you?" She asks nicely. "I um got a little cut up." I say as I show her my arm. "Ouch that's pretty bad. How did that happen?" Ugh, Here come the twenty questions. "I tripped." I lie as I give her a weak smile.
She takes me into the back room to bandage me up. As she pulled my sleep up she gasps a little. The purple bruises line up my whole arm. Thanks dad. I quickly try to think of excuses but I don't think she will ask. "What is all of this?" She asks. I guess I was wrong. "I'm an active person and I bruise easily." I don't meet her eyes as I tell her the lie. She gives me a questioning look but doesn't press any further. "There you go. I'll go get you a pass." I grabbed my books as she walked back to the front desk. "Here you go. Have a nice day." "Thank you, you too" i walk to Spanish slower than I probably should have but then again, who wants to go to Spanish class? My head is pounding as I enter the loud room. "You're late." Mrs. Ryan States in a monotone. Oh really I hadn't noticed. I thought as I handed her my nurse pass. She glances at me and nods as she gestures toward my seat. I sit down behind Mathew and tune out the rest of the class.
