I could hear Bianca and her friends shouting even before I opened the door. Yes I was happy that she was moving on from the douche bag who dumped her but seriously, could we go one day without them them coming over with drinks and Twister?. "Nicky?" Bianca shouted from the main room "Is that you?". Dropping my bag at the door and hanging my jacket up I made my way to her, "Yeah" I stepped over Katy who had apparently fallen asleep in the middle of the floor instead of playing Twister with the others.  "Nico, " Artemis ,one of Bianca's other friends, lifted her free arm and pointed to the kitchen "I brought sushi if you want any" I nodded my thanks but opted for coffee instead.

Of all Bianca's friends , Artemis was my favorite, and since I had never known my own mother, 11 years older than I was she had become a sort of Mother-Figure. She did a lot of the cooking and cleaning as well.  Seeing as I was still in Highschool and Bianca was nothing more than a wild college girl, left to clean and feed ourselves we would live in a pig sty eating ramen packets every day.  I left the girls to have fun and shut the door to my bedroom behind me.

I sighed sitting down on my bed and turned on my laptop. Finally some peace and quiet.  My room was my safe space, the only room Artemis never touched, posters of bands, anime, and movies covered the walls, a collage my best friend Jason had given me for my birthday last year hung by my dresser, photos od us, our friends, and the occasional cute cat or dog.  A Sebastian from Black Butler body pillow lay on my bed, books and manga crowded the one bookshelf by my designated reading spot, the bay window. A bean bag by the lamp.  To me this slightly messy room was heaven.  I straddled the body pillow and lay on my stomach to check my e-mail, nothing that interesting, just Jason asking if I wanted to check out the new boba place later this week and -THUMP- I shut my laptop and grabbed the nearest thing I could throw, which happened to be a stuffed toy rabbit, as I stared at the intruder to my heaven.  He, the intruder, was probably around  17 with dirty blond hair and lightly tanned skin; dressed in a tight white t-shirt and blue jeans. He looked up just about as surprised to see me as I was to see him But smiled anyways, and I threw the rabbit.
