My eyes scanned the room before me.

What I assume is the teachers desk was pushed against the rightwall, behind it a whiteboard with a poster of some metal band on it.

The desks were all moved to the left side corner of the room and were packed on to each other quite risky. As if one push can make it all fall onto me and taking my last breath.

If only that was the case.

"Miss Emily... are you okay?"

I turned around, startled to find the guide behind me.

"Yes, thank you Jakob"

"Miss we are moving to the front hall to end the tour."

"Yes, of course. I'm comming."

I moved out of the old classroom and rejoined with the rest of the group. Why I  even joined this tour group I don't know myself.

This tour won't be any use to my journey. But of course, it was part of my lost memories.

"And that was the tour of Hundson High school..." the tour guide broke my train of thoughts, "now if you would all follow me into the school hall were befregis are waiting."

I slipped out of the school's main doors and glanced back one more time before climbing into the Hyundai Tucson waiting for me.

"And how was your trip down memory lane?"
This is my friend, Janine. The one with a goofy smile and a blond bob.

"Mmmmm, okay I guess. Still the same shabby desks as I remember."

"So... found any memories that could be useful to our journey?" She asked.

"Nope. Nada. Nothing."

"Oh. Well off we go."
She started the car and drove away. I took one last glance at the building I spent most my live at. She continued to drive until we exited the town.

"Goodbye once again Hudson..." I mumble to myself while staring out the window.

"Where to next?" Janine asked.

I turned my head to look at her, "I don't know."

"But you're the main reason were doing this. You have to know."

"I know," I sighed. Searching my brain for our next stop. "Youngstown."

"Youngstown? Are you sure?"

"Yes. Why? What's wrong with Youngstown? I already got a place book at a B&B. If that's what you're worried about?"

"No, no. It's okay." She answered in a whisper.

"Janine, you okay? Should I drive? It's only four hours away."

"You sure? I'm just tired, I'll drive to the next stop." She insisted.

"Okay."

We parked the car at the side of the road and swapped places. Once our seatbelts were on I drived futher.

--

We arrived at Youngtown at about 5pm. We checked in to the B&B and went up to our room. It was a small room with a double bed in the middle of the far wall. A small on suite bathroom was opposite the bed. A big window had the view of the town. I walked towards the window and looked at the town. Janine walked to the bed and through her bag on it, she stood up tall and sighed, with a small relieved smile on her face.

I turned around to look at her and laughed softly.

"What are you laughing at?" She said with a smile.

"Nothing," I turned my head back to the window.

She was about to say something when the P9 rang. She looked at me, I lifted my hand to signal that I would answer the call. I walked to my bag and took out the P9. I answered it and a man in a suite was seen on the screen. Janine came and stood next to me.

"Afternoon sir."

Sir Williams nodded his head and asked,
"Were are you situated?"

"We're at Youngstown sir. We leave tomorrow at 9 am to continue to New York."

Sir Williams looked in thought for a while and added,
"Leave at 7 am. It is about a 7 hour  drive to new York from your position.  I want you two to be here at the headquarters before 3 pm. Clear?"

"Clear, as a sunny day without clouds," I commented.

Sir Williams had a  faint smile tugging at his lips,
"See you tomorrow then. Be save. "

And with that he ended the call. Sir Williams is the head of America, he makes the final desicion of everything. Whether it is a new house you want to build or if you want to go to this shop instead of that one. With the new government things have changed and everything and everyone is categorised. I'm part of the agency just beneath the Government. We know all the "classified information" and we usually do their dirty work.

I'm part of the section that does most mission. Whether it is to find someone who didn't ask permissions to poop or someone who did a serious crime.

"He still scares me," Janine confessed.
With that I laughed and shook my head.

"We've been part of the agency since year 16 of our lives, Janine. And All I can say he's one tough nut to crack." I told her.

"Easy for you to say, he's warming up to you. I on the other hand can't even satisfy him if I find the biggest criminal on earth."

With that we both laughed and jumped on the bed.

"At least or bed is more comfortable than the car seat." I told Janine.

"You're just optimistic," she said with a smile. "But I'm hungry, let's go eat and get to bed early."

We both agreed and started to make our way down the stairs to the dining room. It was 17:57 at the time and dinner is serve at six. So Janine and I desided to walk around the garden until the food is ready.

--

"Emily the food was amazing. I hope breakfast is just as good," Janine and I were walking up to our room.

"I agree it was amazing." I confessed. We headed into the room and Janine asked,

"You going to shower first?"

"Yes, if you don't mind. And don't worry I wont use all the warm water."

She smiled at me and threw me a towl.

I entered the bathroom and closed the door. It was a small bathroom, very cramped. I opened the shower door and turned on the warm tap. I stripped from my clothes. I climb into the shower as soon as steam started to rise.

It felt good to feel the warm water on my skin. I washed my hair and brushed my teeth. When I was finished I came out of the bathroom and Janine entered.

I got dressed into my nightwear and checked the time. 19:28. We still had time to go through a few things.

Janine came out of the bathroom and commented, " I never enjoyed a B&B shower that much before."

We have a short laugh.

I took my P9 from my nightstand and scrolled through the news feed. The agency's electronics are all wired to get any information. But all the unnecessary information are filtered out by the "information team". They basically keep all the information, filtered or not filtered. Janine took her P9 and did the same.

Soon i put my p9 away again. I didn't find anything worthy of my job, neither did Janine. Janine looked at me and said, " I'm tired, we woke up at about 2 this morning. So I'm going to get some shut eye."

I smiled and nodded my head, "Same, I think today was one of the longest days we had in weeks."

We both got underneath the covers. I laid there awake for a while but sleep soon took over.
