-violets POV-

I grab my bag and sling it over my shoulder. I walk towards the door getting ready to leave.
"Violet? Where are you going?" Lee was very nosy and liked to tag along even when I wanted to be alone. "It's market day down in town, want to come?" She jumped up off the couch and grabbed her bag. I open the door to the warm morning air outside. Searching my bag for my keys but soon find nothing but gum, note book, pencil/pen, phone, and some mints. "Lee I think I left my keys inside..." "no I got them." She hands me the keys and we were on our way, her getting into the passengers seat and me in the drivers. Lee turned on the radio to find a good song but every station was filled with static besides one. It spat out a creepy and fuzzy version of ring around the Rosie. "Must be the kids station." What a weird assumption, creepy music for creepy kids. Lee shut the radio off and decides to play music off her phone, she clicks on her favorite song and starts to dance as it immediately plays. Sometimes she seems happier listening to music she has heard before or that she can get into but the words get all jumbled in my head and spat back out into some sort of song. I was never good at finding the words to form sentences but it all comes out as word vomit that kinda sounds alright. But on paper? I could form sentences with such beautiful words and rhymes. I was always a good writer.
"Looks like it might rain violet, want to go back?" The Sky was quickly becoming darker until dark gray and black clouds filled the sky. "It will pass I hope, we aren't that far." She had a worried look on her face like she was going to cry. "Look we are almost-" I had looked away from the road for to long and the rain started heavily. The car slid and slammed into the nearby tree. Everything from the backseat found its way to the dashboard. Lee had hit her head pretty hard and was knocked out laying her head against the door that was slightly opened. I had hit my head but was still awake. I grabbed my shattered phone to dial 911 I get out of the car as the line immediately picked up. I only got out what road we were on before seeing two dark figures heading our way. I could feel myself slip away until I was on the pavement. The last thing I heard before I passed out lees voice saying "let the fun begin"
