Chapter 1

Ash Sanders is a wolf from the Midnight Shadows pack. She's looking for her mate. She lives a pretty normal life with her best friend Skylar. She has alpha blood as her father is the Alpha. See what happens when she wonders through the pack forest and join her on her adventures.

Payton Williams is the Alpha of the Red Moons. He's nineteen and likes to take on challenges and risky decisions. He doesn't want a mate. He himself is pretty unstable considering both of his parents died in a rouge attack that wiped out half of his pack. With the help of his Beta and Third he maintains his pack.

"Hey Ash!" Said Skylar.  "Hey Sky, want to go on a run?" I said excited. "Yeah I'll race you." Sky said joyfully. "Your on!" I yelled, running out the packs house with Sky right behind me. Sky shifted into a beautiful white wolf with sky blue eyes. I shifted into a light grey wolf with deep blue eyes.

We both raced through the forest of the pack. We ran to the back of the forest but stop when I suddenly heard something make a noise. I  thought nothing about it and continued running through the trees. We made it to a little pond at the very back of the forest. We shifted back and waited there to catch out breaths when we heard the noise again.

I mind-linked border patrol.

Hey Thomas.

Hey Ash, do you need something?

Yeah.  Me and Sky heard something in the forest near the border.

I explained what we heard.

I'll check it out for you guys.

"Your probably just paranoid." Said Paige, my wolf. "Shut it I'm not paranoid" I told Paige.

"Are you ready to head back?" I asked Skylar. "Yeah let's go." She said, running past me. We started running through the forest when we heard the sound again. We stopped and looked around to see what the sound was. That's when a shadow appear. Then 3 more showed up.

Paige said pacing around. Rouges

We can't take on all 4 of them at once. I growled at them.

I linked Thomas.

Rouges. Help.

Where? asked Thomas.

South side of the pack.

Ok I'm on my way, stay safe.

I'll try.

One rouge charged towards me and the others charged towards Skylar. "Skylar watch out!" I yelled. She shifted and dodged out of the way of two of them but the other one pinned her to the ground. I shifted and charged towards the wolf on top of Sky and pushed them off of her.

"Thanks." Sky said.
"Your welcome." I said, panting.

As I was going for one of the rouge's neck, I got pinned to the ground. I tried to wiggle free but I couldn't. I chomped down on the rouges leg. The rouge yelped and growled at me. He went to bite my neck but missed and scratched my side. I yelped and tried to wiggle out but I was still stuck.

Then, another wolf showed up...
