i wake up to the sound of my owner crying. i get up and streach. my owner is 11 year old Lilly. i walk over to her and nuge her leg she looks down but countinues to cry and yell at her mom."We can't give Brownie away" she says." we have to" says her mom " but she's only a little puppy we can't leave her here alone" shouts Lilly. " we will not leave her here alone she will go to the pound" says her mom. At the sound of the word 'pound' my ears perk up. I have already been there once. that is were Lilly got me." see mom she knows what the word pound means" yells Lilly. " no she does not your just being silly" her mom says while rolling her eyes. " come on get her in the car so we can drive her to the pound" says the mom camly. "no" Lilly states blankly." i have had to much" says her mom while she grabs Brownie and shoves her in the car. "NO" screams Lilly. "say by to your dog Lilly i AM taking her to the pound. and with that she was off.
