Her smile is brighter than the sun
Yet her eyes are dull and lifeless
She laughs and jokes
but inside she's dying
Builds a wall around her heart
While she pretends she's alright
Her laughter and joyous attitude
Turns into silence and numbness
Bracelets are no longer used for fashion
And jackets are no longer used for the cold
But no one notices
Until she is gone
