Once upon a time, there was a boy named Theo. He lived in California...now, he had just moved here from Seattle. He was going to a new high school he was in ninth grade. When he got there Theo was taken under the wing of the popular kids, and the one who seemed to be the leader, Paxton. Paxton was tall and handsome, with brown eyes and brown hair, he was a bit of a hot head and it tended to be repulsive and push close friends away. Theo went over to Paxton's house to study for a vocabulary quiz, and that is where Olivia and Theo met. Olivia was Paxton's twin sister, she was beautiful but naive. Theo's calm surfer like vibe made Olivia feel safe.
The next day at lunch Paxton started to show off to Theo in front of one of Olivia's friends, it was clear that he was jealous that Theo had so effortlessly escalated the food chain and was now the big man on campus. Olivia and Paxton had started sitting together at lunch but they say at their own table. They have become inseparable but never hung out outside of school. Although Theo was cool he still got nervous too, he didn't want to ask her on a date. Paxton pulled Theo aside one day:
"You can't date my sister dude!" said Paxton.
"But I really like her she is..." Theo said before he was cut off mid-sentence.
"No dude." Paxton reiterated.
The lunch bell rang and Paxton and Theo were nowhere to be seen. Olivia looked everywhere for them, the chapel, the cafeteria, the classrooms. She began to worry when she heard shouting coming from the men's bathroom. She sprinted to the door and listened for a while. "I told you to stay away from her"
"You can't tell me who to like!"
"Stay away from her or I'll kill you"
"No"
That was it, she rushed in to see Theo with a fat bloody lip, and Her twin with bloody knuckles and gash on his head, she snatched her hair bands out of her hair, tied their hands together and dragged the two to the principal's office. She unbound their wrists, shoved them down in chairs on separate sides of the waiting room, and went into the principal's personal cubicle, she walked out two minutes later with Mr.Granger at her heels. The two rose from their chairs and filed into his cubicle. She could hear muffled shouts from behind the closed door while she prepared the emergency ice packs. She cracked the internal bag and shook the cold fluid loose inside the casing. Paxton was apparently the aggressor for that he had a week long suspension while Theo slid off with two days. During the remaining day of Paxton's suspension, after Theo returned Olivia and Theo's romance bloomed. They shared their first date at the movies on Friday night, on Sunday they studied for biology together at Theo's house of course.
Olivia and Theo were now official at school. As for Paxton, he had been exiled by the popular kids and now ate lunch alone in the chapel. Paxton and Theo never spoke again.
