Prologue

            Out of the dark waters, into the cold, dreary night rose the vile monster that was the most hated of all the world’s creatures. Its ravenous hunger once again needed satisfaction. Knowing exactly where to fulfill its needs, the monster slunk with intense bloodlust through the cool night air that indicated the coming of winter. It was a bloodlust for the unsuspecting villagers that lived only a few miles from its home. How this creature had come into being; now that was a mystery for the ages. One could only know the message on the sign that sat at the edge of the lake:

                                                "Keep out of the water..."

             The monster that no one knew but everyone feared was insicious, vile, and relished his meals as the lives of it's victims languished and faded away. It came in the night. Its gaping jaws, its vicious fangs and talons were enough to send any man running. Could there be no one to stop this creature? That question seemed unanswered for many centuries while Hell's Angel wreaked havoc and destruction as he pleased. Anywhere water was more than an inch high could be enough to allow this monster passage. For the people of the marsh, safety seemed as though it was unattainable. They lived in fear of their day-to-day lives. Lives that they considered better lost than saved. They lived as though they cared not about what they should do to survive…
