My Tutor

Chapter One

"ACACIA HONEY! GET UP, YOU'RE LATE!" I heard my mom scream. I look at the time and it said nine o' clock. I started to mutter some words underneath my breath as I drag myself out the bed. Since I am late, I am going to take my time. I grabbed this cute little crop top with ripped jeans. I got into the shower and as I did, my phone beeped. *ding ding* I sighed and washed my hair. As I was washing my hair, my phone beeped again. *ding ding*. It beeped about five to six more times. As I wash the conditioner out my hair, my phone starts to ring. I just let it ring and ring and ring. I start to wash my body and the dogs start barking. I hurry up and get out. I dry myself off and put a towel around my head. I put my clothes on and walk back into my room.

I check my phone and I have ten messages and a missed call from my friend Brindee. I texted her back then took the towel off my head. I blew dried my hair as the straightener gets hot. As soon as I got done I brushed my hair and put some music on. I started straightening my hair when the dogs started barking again. "Mom?" I called out while continuing straightening my hair.

I got done doing my hair and put my deodorant on. I ran to the bathroom and sprayed some perfume on myself. I brushed my teeth and grabbed my leather jacket. I grabbed my backpack and walked to school.

I got to school and they gave me a late pass to my third period class. History. I'm so good at history. Whenever there is a test or quiz, I don't have to study, I have a perfect one-hundred in this. class. I looked over at Brindee then back to the front of the class. "Ace, welcome to this school. We are more than happy to have you here." Mr. Hangler announced. New student? Hmm. "Okay class, today we will be doing a group project. Everybody is getting a group of three. I will let you guys pick your own partner. Go ahead, pick your partners." He also announced.

I went immediately to Brindee. I saw everyone finding their partner as Ace was being pushed down by the snotty girls. Iris, Kaylee, and Alise. Iris is the queen or the leader of the group. Iris stood over Ace as she kept pushing him down. I told Brindee to stay here as I walk over to him. I stepped infront of Ace right when Iris was about to push him down again. I have felt Ace get up behind me. "Stay there Ace, don't move." I told him.

"What are you doing?" Snobby Iris asked. "What do you think I am doing you little six toed slack garbage scum?" I snapped back. There was a lot off ooh's and oh my god's and more. "Get out of my way cup of toilet water." She scoffed. "The only toilet water here, is you Iris scum." I said. "Let's go Ace." I said. Ace followed me back to Brindee. Everyone was shocked that I would ever stand up to Iris like that. They then started laughing at them.

-Ace's Point of View-

Wow, was this girl very pretty. She stuck up for me. No one has. I have been bullied all my life. I am not sure if I should ask her to go out to lunch or something. The only friend I have is like a brother to me and his name is Archer. I should ask him.

After class I walked right out and went to my next period. Science. I am such a science geek. My worst subject ever is Math. Math, I could freaking burn whoever even evented math.

-After School-

I called my friend Archer and he immediately picked up.

Archer: Hey, what's up kid?

Ace: Where you at, I need to talk to you in person.

Archer: Go to Starbucks, now.

Ace: Okay. See you soon. Bye.

Archer: Bye.

We both hung up and I was now on my way to Starbucks. As I went a couple blocks away from school, Starbucks is right there, in front of my eyes right now. I walked inside and saw Archer looking down at his phone. I sat down and he shut his phone off and put it on the table and looked at me. "What happened Ace?" He worriedly asked. "These three girls, they are already bullying me. Supposedly this kid named Iris kept pushing me down. So this anonymous girl came and stepped up for me. She is really pretty and pretty bada**. She saved me Archer she saved me!" I raced. "She sounds pretty cool. I would have too meet her some day.

-Acacia's Point of View-

"Brindee, I don't know what to do, I am failing math already so I don't know how I am going to go to the dinner dance in a couple weeks." I sadly said. "Aww, Acacia, you will bring up your grade. I am going to go leave now so you can figure something out. Goodbye now Acacia." Brindee said giving me a hug and walking out the door. I looked for math tutors on the internet.

All of them are so expensive. As I was just about to give up looking this one math tutor caught my eye. His name is Fletcher Mathew Chandler. All his information was there, so I tried looking for his number. FOUND IT! I typed in his number and texted him.

Acacia- Hey, this is Fletcher right?

Fletcher- Yes, this is Fletcher. Who's this?

Acacia- My name is Acacia. I am looking for a math tutor, I am wondering if you can tutor me?

Fletcher- Yes, of course I can. Could you meet up anytime today?

Acacia- No, I am sorry. My free day is Thursday so we can meet somewhere after school.

Fletcher- Today is Tuesday so, yeah I will see you then. Meet at the park at two?

Acacia- Sure, love the park. See you then!

Fletcher- Wait, I still want to talk.

Acacia- Oh, okay. Actually you could come to my place until eight. You will have to leave before my parents get home.

Fletcher- Sure, where do you live?

Acacia- *texts him the address*

Fletcher- You live right a crossed from me, see you in a minute.

Acacia- Okay.

As I wait for Fletcher to come I quickly brush my teeth and throw my hair up in a bun. I heard a knock at the door, I ran down the stairs as fast as I can. I open the door and walk into the kitchen. He is still at the door. "Are you okay? You are going to let bugs in." I said. He tries to come in but he can't. Like he is trapped. I sniffed and realized he is a vampire. "You are a vampire." I said and he looks at me so scared and worried. "I will go." He said. "Wait Fletcher!" I yelled. "Come in!" I yelled again. HE came in and shut the door.

"What are you?" He asked. "Me? I am a hybrid. Vampire and Werewolf. Your secret is safe with me. I made some popcorn and sat on the couch in the living room. He came alone and sat next to me. I grabbed us a blanket and grabbed two pillows. "Put on a movie." I said and he laughed. "Okay, what kind?" He asked. "Horror." I smiled and he put on a horror movie. I shut the lights out and shut the curtains so no light comes in. I laid on the couch and watched the movie.

I watched the whole movie as I heard snoring. As I was about to get up, I heard car doors shut. Oh no. It is nine-thirty five! Oh my god. "Fletcher! Fletcher! Wake up! My parents are home!" I whispered yelled. He got up and we both ran into my room with the blankets, pillows, and popcorn. "I will see you Thursday, Acacia." He said walking towards the window. "Okay, be safe getting out" I sadly whispered. He nodded and jumped out the window.
