Distinguished - Gift of The Viper

Chapter 1: Overrun

I ran through the streets of Gajran. Not for sport or anything like that, more of "Running for your life" Scenario.

And what was I running from exactly?

Let me go back a bit.

The boat creaked as we got off onto Gajran Port. The smoke was coming from different parts of the city, but city centre looked extremely bad from afar.

Nobody was out on the port, all we heard distant screams and booming noises.

"What a nice way to see Skydo for the first time!" Zach sarcastically replied.
I'm glad he tried to make fun out of the situation and everything, but this wasn't as helpful.

We walked into an open entrance at the side of the city.
I looked up and saw a sign saying;
"Welcome To Skydo"
The first look on the city was horrible, crashed windows were visible from every house, broken lamps and walls on the street and..... Bodies.

"W..h...a.....t..... Happened?" I asked Zach.
He frowned and continued walking.

We looked through the streets,
occasionally hearing thunderous noises. I looked into my pocket and read the note from earlier.
Who's Arthur G? I thought to myself, theories spanning around my mind.
That moment I heard a loud creek around the corner.
"Zach...."
"Run!" He yelled.
We started running the opposite direction. I peeked back and saw a large fiery, rocky dinosaur like creature.
Chaotic.

I ran even faster until Zach stopped dead in his tracks and I crashed into him sending both of us tumbling forward. I alarmingly looked up and saw another Chaotic.
Zach gave me a nod to spilt up, but before we took any moves a Chaotic grabbed his hoodie and flung him up into the air.

I took action and turned into my wolf, flew up as fast as I could and caught him mid air. Instantly I felt heavy, I got lower and lower....
"Abigail could you fly higher so the Chaotic can't reach us?" Zach sarcastically suggested.
"I ca..n't....its... to... stronggg"
The gravity pulled us back down.
"What the hell?" Zach called when we were back at the ground full of bloodthirsty Chaotics charging towards us.
I looked around and saw a purple tower close to city centre.
I pointed "We need to get rid of that thing!"
Zach nodded before the Chaotics got alarmingly close and charged us down different alleyways.

So now you know why I'm running for my life.

Let's switch back to reality now.
