It was almost the end of the day, Riley really wanted to get back home so she could make a nice, steaming hot cup of tea then go to her bedroom and watch some television while ding revision for the following exam coming up the next week. The Rusty red bell rang, it was loud and annoying but today it was more pleasant to hear it was like angels singing . She packed her things into her ragged white and black poker dot bag. Slowly, she stood up and left the empty class room. A few moments later after leaving the class room she could hear loud, deafening shouts.

"RILEY!!! RILEY OVER HERE! WAIT UP!" The voice was very familiar so she turned around to see her friend; Maddie. her brown locks bounced around as she galloped towards Riley. her ocean blue eyes filled with delight at the fact Riley stopped to wait. Maddie eventually made it through the maze of people. Stopping in front of Riley. She caught her breath back and began to speak.

"So riley how was science?" curiosity filled her eyes.

"it could of been better, but I can tell you what was funny" Riley added as she began to howled with laughter at the thought.

"what happened? did Simon set his book on fire again?" she laughed and snorted at the memory, riley loved it when Maddie laughed it just made the bad days into good days.

"no no no, however Simons face was priceless" they began to walk towards the exit. "well basically Mr Park was shouting at this kid and his voice broke, it was so funny I almost pissed myself. his voice went really high" they both began to snigger.

"I would have paid to see that. So Riley is you mum picking you up?" said Maddie casually.

"No I am getting the subway today. My mums doing a late night shift again" Riley said with a sad and agitated tone. She never got time to talk to her mum. A pair of warm arms rapped around her thin, bony body. She glanced over to see Maddie hugging her. She smiled lightly.

"Don't worry Riley. if you want company just call Kay?"

"Kay" riley said looking at Maddie with a innocent and friendly smile.

"Sorry to cut this short but my mum just texted me, she's outside waiting. Bye Bye! and stay positive! I don't like seeing you gloomy" she looked at Maddie slowly disappear into the distance. Riley let out a long sigh and began her journey.

She arrived into the crowed city and was prepared to navigate her way to the station, she wanted to avoid taking short cuts as she was never fond of small narrow alley ways.

The streets where dull and depressing. Cars honked there horns as angry drivers screamed swear words out there widows. sails men advertised there things as bystanders walked past trying to avoid conversation with other people. children skipped along as the grasped there parents hands tightly, innocence filled there features as they had not yet witnessed the true evil of the world.

I had finally got to the subway. It wasn't that busy as it usually is. Riley walked to the notice board and focussed on the times. satisfied with her finding she began to walk towards her platform. the train station wasn't very clean, there where unwanted food and sometimes lost items Riley hated the subway as she always felt watched or judged.

Her train was announce. She got herself ready for the long journey home, she had her coal black phone in her hand so she didn't have to rummage through her bag. She quickly glanced down at the screen turning it on to check the time. She had a simple purple background with a few dots of a darker shade of purple. The time was around 5:47pm.

The train arrived. It was a rusty grey with a thin line of blue going around the train. It chattered along the tracks as the carriages wobbled around like jelly. The windows where stained a chocolate brown with a tint of green. The doors slowly opened welcoming people... or well at least tried too.

Riley then hopped onto the train, trying to avoid the large gap. Once on the train, she scanned the warn down carriage for any empty seats. Successful, she began to walk towards the desired object. Sitting in her chair. She turns her phone on and flicks through her music. Satisfied with her song she clicked play and tried to relax. She began to play one of her games.

After a while she began to see a dark mysterious figure in the corner of her eye. Glancing over her shoulder to check the area, however she saw no figure and shook it off as a illusion or some thing. Then her vision began to blur then everything turned a dark black. A wave of confusion hit her. her mind and body was awake but it felt like something was blocking her from having access to her body. It felt like there where two people inside her body.

"what the hell is happening?!" she thought, not expecting someone to answer.

"don't you worry, all will be revealed in due time." A loud menacing laugh echoed her mind.

"let me go back!! let me go back to reality!!" her voice was shaky.

"patience my child" said the voice in a over powering tone.

The last laugh was heard until it faded into the back of her mind. she glanced around the endless abyss wondering when she would finally return to the real world. She waited and waited. Time grew longer as Riley's patience grew shorter.

Riley's vision returned and the things that greeted her was merely traumatizing. her face turned a pale white as her blood thickened. A crimson red liquid decorated the carriage. Limp, lifeless bodies where scattered around. In her hand was a sharp, metallic knife. A red substance slowly trickled down her arm. Her eyes widened at the thought of her killing all these people.

One body stuck out to her, it was a little girl around the age of 7. Her soft brown locks covered her fragile face. Ruby red blood stained her clothes that covered her tiny body. She had gooey brown eyes but seemed to look empty and lifeless. Her light pink lips where beginning to loose its colour as her body turned cold.

"did.. I do t..this?" Riley questioned in a quiet voice. Fear filled her figure as she began to quiver at the sight of all these people.

Riley noticed the train had been stopped and the old rusty doors had been opened. she slowly walked over to the opened door and glanced around the never ending tunnel. she jumped down. Her feet hit the stone grey floor. She picked her self up and began to run to the nearest station. Her feet grew saw and red. She couldn't stop though. Her thoughts swirled through her mind like a wild tornado.

"what am I going to do!" Cristal blue liquid fell down her soft pink cheeks. "I..i cant handle this, those poor pe..people" she slowed her place down so she could catch her breath back.

A bright light glowed from the distance. A station was only a few meters away. All she had to do was make it to the the station and get back to the streets.

"you can do this Riley" she whispered to herself.
