I sat at the foot of my bed and watched as my boyfriend packed his bags
"Isn't it a little weird that they want you to leave at such short notice?"
I watched as a look of regret washed over his face "It is weird, but baby this is work" He said zipping his suitcase and kissing my forehead
"Just be back soon, alright?" I said hugging his waist
He placed his chin on top of my shoulders "I'll try. I love you, remember that" He said softly kissing me before walking out and leaving me feeling helpless on our bed
