I couldn't sleep cause I keep thinking about the events that happened earlier that night. When she kissed me, it felt like the world stopped, my heart doing the same. I was caught off guard, just seconds before she was completely distant and then she did that. She's completely confusing.

The next morning Mia and I went to church, just like every Sunday.
"Mia you almost ready?" I yell from the bathroom.
"Almost" she yells back. I wear a blue sundress with a black ribbon around the waist that is tied into a bow in the back. My hair is lightly curled and with my natural makeup. Mia comes in the bathroom wearing a long white dress with a pink sweater over her shoulders. When we arrive at church we say hello to the normal people and take are seats. When brother Matt starts to speak everyone become quiet.
"Mornin' everyone, so glad to see y'all's bright and smiling faces this morning. Now we have to new guests this morning that just arrived this week. Cindy Adams and her son Luke" he's says and we all turn around to see the new faces., one being not so new. Luke notices us and waves, Mia waving back excitedly and me just smiling a soft smile. Durning the service we all sing and listen to brother Matt preach. After we all go outside and talk in the yard out front. I was speaking with one of the older lady's when Mia takes off beside from beside me. I turn around and see she was running toward Luke.
"Hi" I say walking up to them. Luke gets up from in front of Mia.
"Hi" he says with a smile.
"Luke honey it's time to" a lady starts to say walking up next to him but stops when she sees us.
"Well hello" she says with a smile.
"Mom this is Alyssa and her sister Amelia" Luke sad introducing us.
"Girls this is my mom"
"Nice to meet you Mrs. Adams" I say extending my hand.
"Please call me Cindy"
"Hi I'm Mia" my sister says in her small voice.
"Hi there"
"Well we should get going Mia's hungry" I say looking down at my sister.
"You girls should come over I made fried chicken and mashed potatoes, green beans. We can't really eat it all by our selfs" she say.
"Fried chicken!" Mia practically yells.

After we left the church we a head back to my mom and I's house. When we arrived we walked up to the door and me, being the gentleman my father raised me to be, I hold the door while the girls walked in. Aly was the last to go in, she was about to step in when she turned around and smiled at me. I smiled back and was getting ready to say something but she put her finger up to her lips to tell me not to speak. I was confused why she didn't want me to talk but okay.
"So Mia tell me, what grade are you in?" My mom says trying to make conversation and get to know the girls more.
"I'm in 6th grade, but I'm in a 7th grade math class" she says proudly.
"That's great and Aly tell me about you"
"Well" Aly started to say while finishing chewing her food.
