This opening part is taken from Empire of Storms, by Sarah J. Maas. I will let you know when I start writing my own words.

"I do not think you even know what happiness is." Elide said to Lorcan.
His face grew grave-thoughtful.
"I do not mind . . . being around you."
"Is that a compliment?"
A half smile cut across his granite-hewn face. And she wanted . . . wanted to touch it. That smile, that mouth. With her fingers, her own lips. It made him younger, made him . . . handsome.
So she reached up with trembling fingers and touched his lips. Lorcan froze, still half above her, his eyes solemn and intent. But Elide traced the contours of his mouth, finding the skin there soft and warm, such a contrast to the harsh words that usually came out of it.
She reached the outer corner of his lips, and he turned his face into her hand, resting his rough cheek against her palm. His eyes grew heavy lidded as she brushed a thumb over the hard plane of his cheekbone.
Elide whispered, "I would hide you. In Perranth. If you . . . if you do what you need to do, and need somewhere to go . . . You would have a place there. With me." His eyes snapped open, but there was nothing hard, nothing cold, about the light shining in them.
"I would be a dishonored male-it'd reflect poorly on you."
"If anyone thinks that, they would have no place in Perranth."
Lorcan's throat bobbed. " Elide, you need to-"
But she rose up slightly, replacing her mouth where her fingers had been. The kiss was soft, and quiet, and brief. Barely a grazing of her lips against his. She thought Lorcan might have been trembling as she pulled back. As heat bloomed across her cheeks. But she made herself say, " You don't need to answer me now. Or ever. You could show up on my doorstep in ten years, and the offer would still stand. But there is a place for you, in Perranth-if you should ever need or wish for it."
Something like agony rippled in his eyes, the most human expression she'd seen him make. But he leaned forward, and despite the marshes, despite what gathered in the world, for the first time in ten years, Elide found herself not at all afraid as Lorcan caressed her lips with his own. Not afraid as he did it again, kissing one corner of her mouth, then the other. Such gentle, patient kisses- his hands equally so as they stroked back the hair back from her brow, as they trailed over her hips, her ribs. She lifted her own hands to his face and dragged her fingers into his silken hair as she arched up into him, craving the weight of his body on hers. Lorcan's tongue brushed against the seam of her mouth, and Elide marveled at how natural it felt to open for him, how her body sang at the contact, his hardness against her softness. Lorcan groaned at the first caress of his tongue against her own, his hips grinding against hers in a way that made heat scorch though her, made her own body undulate against his in answer and demand. He kissed her deeper at that request, a hand sliding down to grip her thigh, spreading her legs a bit wider so he could settle fully between them. And as all of him lined up with her . . .
She was panting, she realized, as she ground herself against him, as Lorcan tore his mouth from hers and kissed her jaw, her neck, her ear. She was trembling-not with fear, but with want as Lorcan breathed her name over and over onto her skin. Like a prayer, that was how her name sounded on his lips. She took his face in her her hands, finding his eyes blazing, his breathing as ragged as her own.
Elide dared to run her fingers from his cheek down his neck, right beneath the collar of his surprisingly still on, shirt. His skin was like heated silk. He shuddered at the touch, head bowing so that his inky hair spilled onto her brow, and his hips drove into hers just enough that a small gasp came out of her. More, she realized-she wanted more.
His eyes met hers in silent question, her hand pausing over the skin above his heart. It was a raging, thunderous beat. She lifted her head up to kiss him, and as her mouth again met his, she whispered her answer.

The following are my own words.

"Yes." Elide felt his smile against her lips. She smiled back. The kiss grew more passionate and she moved her hands from the front his chest and to his back, pulling him closer to her. She arched up into him again and mumbled against Lorcan's lips, "I love you."
That undid him.
He broke the kiss and looked down at Elide. His hands wandered to the hem of her shirt. She dipped her chin as if to say yes to his silent question.
Her shirt came off. Then her pants. Then it was his turn. She gently, but quickly, pulled off his pants, shirt, and all of his weapons, stealing kisses in between. Elide slowly arched up into Lorcan's broad chest and his hands gently held her back. She kissed his neck while he untied the cloth covering her breasts. He laid her back down onto the sleeping mat they shared, kissing her passionately while doing so.
He looked down at her full breasts, pleasantly surprised at them, due to Elide always having a thick cloth around them.
"You are so beautiful." He kissed her again. Gradually moving down slowly. He kissed her jaw, her neck, her collarbone, and finally kissed her sternum. He moved to the right, his tongue skimming her breast.
Elide felt like a shooting star.
As Lorcan's canines skimmed her nipple, she couldn't contain her moan. Her hands traced the powerful muscle of his back and she didn't want this to end. She wanted even more. Her hands went farther down. So did his. Before removing her undershorts, his eyes met hers and he said, " I love you, too."
Both Elide and Lorcan removed the other's shorts at the same time. She was shaking. With want. Her eyes wandered down. Lower and lower. Her eyes slightly widened, and he smirked. His gaze grew ravenous. His head and hands moved from her glowing face, to her chest, and to the apex of her thighs. He grabbed her thighs and spread them wide. Elide whined, she couldn't wait anymore. Lorcan's head dipped and all she could see was his inky hair. She felt it. Elide never knew how wonderful she would feel. It was a first.
Lorcan tasted her. She cried his name over and over again, telling him to hurry and go. And so he did.
First his mouth.
Elide's moans grew louder and louder and he laughed darkly.
Then his fingers came in. She gasped. Faster, she said. He went faster. She cried his name over and over again. She couldn't remember her own, but she definitely knew his.
When he finished, Elide's body was so hot that if it started raining, there could be steam around her (well that sounds familiar). Lorcan rose above her. He kissed her with lust and want. She moved her hand-and grabbed him. He moaned, and it vibrated in her throat. She stroked, and Lorcan kissed her even deeper.
He grabbed her hand, and she let him. He pinned her hands above her head and used one of his hands to comb through her dark hair. His other widened her legs once again and guided himself right outside of her.
He looked into her eyes as he guided himself into her. Elide forgot about all things as she felt the first nudge of him inside her. She forgot about Morath, finding her long lost cousin, about her all her struggles. All that mattered was here and now. This moment.
Lorcan found her mouth once again. As he moved into her, inch by inch, Elide ground herself against him. She couldn't hold back much longer. As he moved faster, he kissed her body while saying her name over and over again. He began to move, deeper and deeper, harder and harder. Their hips grinding against each other's, they went over the edge. Her hands moving down his muscled back, Elide smiled softly, yet it was as bright as the stars. Lorcan moved his lips from her mouth to her neck, his canines moving along her heated skin.
She cried his name as he kept moving and blasted through her like the well of his dark magic.
They looked at each other.
"I . . . want to go to . . . Perranth." He said. "With you."
"You are, and always will be welcomed there, Lorcan." Elide whispered.
They kissed as he remained in her, and then in his release, she gasped and he told her, "I love you, too."
