It was me

Chapter 1

"Boom" I heard loud enough through my headphones. I ran downstairs and smelt something funny, as if something is burning.

I hear my mother yelling for all of us to come outside. My mind wouldn't function what has happened.

I went outside seeing my mother crying. Our house was on fire, the police and fire fighters were here.

My mother looked at me and my siblings but noticed my little sister, Luna wasn't there with us. She's still inside.

My mother rushed inside, but everyone tried to stop her even me. She didn't listen.

Once she went inside I heard another "Boom" a louder one from the previous one. The house was destroyed. Everything was in flames.

I dropped down to my knees, and sobbed.

This couldn't be happening.

I lost two people who were important to my life.

All my things were gone.

We have no where to live.

What am I going to do now?

I hugged my little brother, adam. He's 7 years old. I can't believe he has to go through all of this at a young age.

1 month later.

I'm still looking for a job. I live with my grandma now. She has taken care of us. I want to make money as soon as I can so we can move out.

I walk down the streets and see papers stapled on the wall. I look at all of them but one catched my eye.

"Need a job? We got the perfect one for you! Being an assistant to one of the richest buisnessmen in the whole world! Mr Kim! He's looking for one right now! If you have any questions call this number ___. On January 30th is the day he's going to hire an assistant! Meet up at his office @ 7:30 a.m. Can't wait to see you there!"

"An assistant for Mr.Kim? He's one of the richest men in the world! I am sure I would be able to make a lot of money!" I said to myself.

I walked back home to my grandma's house. I see her sewing again. "Hey grandma I found a job! I might get hired tomorrow!" I say.

"That's great sweetie. What job is it?" She asks. "An assistant to Mr.Kim!" I smiled. Grandma looked at me "Oh no no no he's a horrible man. He over works all of his assistants that they quit in the first 10 minutes!"

"Oh come on grandma it can't be that bad! Plus he's rich and we need the money! We can barely afford Adam's education."

"Alright, alright but don't come complaining to me!" She says. I rolled my eyes.
