Hey, my names meadow. Meadow Doyle. I'm 14 (almost 15), I have brown eyes, long black hair, I'm pretty tall (5ft 7 to be exact) and another thing, oh yeah apparently I'm dead.
Well I'm not really, but that's what everyone thinks.
You might be wondering how I managed to make everyone think I'm dead, was it a prank? No it wasn't, it wasn't even my fault.
I should probably explain. So it all started last week, it was Monday morning (ugh Mondays) and I was on my way to boring, old school. I sat down on the train and saw a newspaper next to me, I had a forty minute journey and nothing to do, so I thought why not read it. After all, I'm only 4 years away from being an adult, I'm gonna have to start doing boring things like paying attention to the news at some point. Let's not get distracted, so continuing with my story: the headline "14 year old girl gets brutally murdered near West street". The first thought I had was "what a poor girl, my age and lives just near me, I wonder if she went to my school". Well turns out she did, turns out that girl is also happens to be me.
The first line of the article "Mother is distraught after finding out her daughter, 14 year old Meadow has died". I thought it was quite a coincidence that there was a girl living just down the road from me with the exact same name and age as me, so I looked at the photo. My school photo (aka the worst photo of me ever taken) taken when I was in year seven, my hair was an absolute mess and I couldn't be bothered to even cover up the dark circles under my eyes. I was completely speechless. How could this have been me? I was most certainly NOT dead.
