"What's up, Bro? How's life of an AMBOY?" wika ng isa sa mga pinsan ko, si Stephen. Kasalukuyan silang nasa sala ng mansion namin. Dito na sila tumuloy kasama sila Tita Sofie, nakababatang kapatid ni daddy at asawa nitong si Tito Miguel and Steven, Stephen's younger brother, mas bata ng 4 taon sa amin. Sinundo ako nila mommy at daddy sa airport mula sa New York. I lived there for 6 years since college graduation. I decided to take up my Master's Degree there and try to work as an ordinary employee to find something new. Pero ngayon kinukulit na ako ng parents ko to manage our business dahil gusto na rin daw nilang magrelax and enjoy their old age days, which I find weird, old age, my mom is just 50 and my dad is 52, still strong like a bull. But since, only child ako wala akong magagawa kundi ang sumunod. Kaya heto ako ngayon balik Pinas kahit na ayoko sana.
"Kuya Bar, are you staying for good?" tanong ni Steven sa akin. Sa pagkakaalam ko, Steven is already engaged with his High School girlfriend. Another weird, having engaged at the age of 24 and get married next year. Oh, come on I'm just 28 and not yet through for being a bachelor.
"Yes, but if I have a choice, I don't". nakangiting sagot ko at tumingin kay mommy na nakasimangot. Kaya agad kong nilapitan at hinalikan sa noo.
"It's just like you really want to tell us that you don't want to be with us." mommy said while pouting.
"I'm just joking Mom, but like what we've talked, give me one year to think about it. I will try to study the business and find out if I can do it." sagot ko habang patungo kaming lahat sa dining area, where plenty of food are being served at this moment.
"I know you can do it, son. Imagine this, our present COO is an ordinary simple woman, but how come she can manage everything and we are very comfortable to leave all the decisions to her without doubt". daddy said. My Mom inherited a large company of furniture and 3 Five Star hotels in the Philippines which are merged with my Father's inherited real estate business, while Tita Sofie and his husband own the biggest car companies in the Philippines and in Japan. The company here in the Philippines is handled by my cousin Stephen for almost 2 years. Steven planning to migrate in Japan next year after his wedding to manage the car company there.
"Oh, it seems you don't need me anymore because as far as I observed you already had someone to take over your position." sabi ko habang kumukuha ng Menudo, isa sa paborito kong Filipino food na namiss ko while staying in New York.
"That's it son, even how much we want to give her the position, because you have doubt having it, still she always refuses." sabi ni Mommy.
"Wow, really, she must be different." nagtatakang sagot ko habang panay ang subo ng kanin at menudo namiss ko talaga ito.

"I second the motion, Sofie, if ever Barry will have new girlfriend I like someone like her or maybe why not her". Sabi ni Mommy.
" Oh, come on Mom, don't tell me you will pursue this fix marriage, no no no , telling you Mom. I will go back to New York immediately if you do that." sabi ko.
" Makapagreact ka naman , Son, as if naman papasa ka sa qualifications ni Patricia." natatawang wika ni Mommy na hinampas pa si daddy sa balikat na tumatawa na rin together with Tito and Tita.
" Wow, Mom, did you forget that I am your son?" nagtatampong sagot ko.
"No, son I'm just telling you the truth if you are not fond of fix marriage, Patricia will be a lot more will refuse that." nakangiting sagot ni mommy.
Natapos ang masayang hapunan at kinailangan nang umuwi nila Tito Miguel at Tita Sofie, nagpaiwan ang dalawa kong pinsan to catch up on me. While mommy and daddy settle early bedroom to rest. Samantalang kami tatlo nagtuloy sa pool sa likod ng mansion.
" No, jetlag, bro? makikipagsabayan ka ba sa amin ngayon? " wika ni Stephen habang inaabot sa akin ang isang bote ng San Mig light.
" Yah, I just slept throughout the flight, anyway, Steven, really you're getting married, wala na bang atrasan, papatali ka na talaga?" baling ko kay Steven,
" I fell, bro kaya wala ng bawian." nakangiting sagot ni Steven.
" Oh, really at talaga inuhan mo pa kami ni Stephen." wika ko
" Ayoko ng pakawalan baka maagaw pa ng iba, ayokong matulad sa inyong dalawa."
"Damn you" sabay na wika namin ni Stephen habang natatawa sa katagang binitiwan ni Steven
"But, you know, Bro, I am happy for you, tagal nyo na rin, six years, right? You know I hope that someday, I wish I will find the right girl for me, yung walang arte, down to earth, mapride pero di naman pusong bato, something like that?" naiimagine kong wika.
" I know where you can find her." natatawang wika ni Stephen.
" Really, where?
" Sa kumbento, bro marami silang ganyan" natatawang wika muli ni Stephen
"WTF, bro."
" Pero, bro really, I know where you can find such kind of girl. But I hope you can get along with the place. It is somewhat creepy but 100% sure, your wish will be fulfilled in that place. Ano game, tomorrow, 8 am, just wear short and simple t-shirt and maybe slippers."
"What!, how come, we can get our target with that kind of outfit?" nagtatakang tanong ko.
"Just trust me on this, bro. paano tomorrow, ikaw bro sama kaba?" baling ni Steven sa kapatid.
"Just make sure that it will work or else, I will make your wedding day, your saddest day." nagbabantang wika ni Stephen sa kapatid.
" Wag naman, bro, but for sure it will be an interesting hunting game for both of you." sagot ni Steven habang tinutungga ang San Mig niya.
