My favorite bus driver here at campus just earned a lot more points in my book. And pretty much everyone else that was on the bus this afternoon.
So, it has snowed quite a bit recently, and because of the many inches that have been piled up from plows and things, roads are thinner.
The road to campus barely has room for the two lanes going straight, and the one left turn lane.
Anyway, on to the story. He was driving up the hill toward the light, but a different bus was in the turn lane so he couldn't fit through.
The light was green, but we had to wait, which caused the guy behind us to honk, to which the bus driver replied a very loud, "What?!"
A few of the other students laughed and assured him that it was the other guy's mistake as we finally got through the intersection.
Then the bus driver let out a sigh, and said, "You know what? They can suck it, there's four feet of road there. Honestly. All this snow is ridiculous. The streets are like, nine feet thinner...
At least I didn't hit him."
I think everyone was smiling when they stepped off the bus.
