"What's your problem Nani?" My mom raised her eyebrows bringing up my previous remark

"Ma , You Don't Understand I like it here but don't nobody want to go to no private school ."

"How about Crenshaw High ?" She asked

"Yeah , that sounds okay." I answered

"Hell , that's the most ghetto school in all of California and that's where you want to be? You'd get your ass beat up" my mom asked letting her Dominican accent roll off of her tongue .

"Yes , Is that a problem concerning you?" I asked

"Im getting tired of your smart remarks"

"I'm tired of you always going against my decisions , ma." I sighed .

"It's been a long ass day , that's all baby girl" she smiled weakly . "if you Want to go to Crenshaw ... I guess I could take it into consideration." she rolled her eyes with a slight laugh following after

I don't understand how I go to sleep with my blinds closed and wake up with the light shining in my face like a nigga done died.

' Morning mija , I had to work and Ill sign you up for school while I'm out . So , I know you probably don't want to wear your old clothes from last year. Therefor I left you a few 20 's in the fridge . Don't ask why. My friend Marie will be at the house at 12 to take you to the mall so be ready . Love you see you at 6.'

My mom is just going to send me to the mall with a complete stranger. Idc though , the mall is the mall. I looked In the fridge and saw my 20s. A NIGGA COUNTED 15 20's. Equalling 300 dollars!!

"IM RICH BITCHES!" I ran upstairs and started getting dressed

After my long shower I put on my outfit for the day which was my black tights , and my half cut bulls sweatshirt showing off my flat toned belly and piercing .

I wasnt done so i just went down to open the door .
