"Bitch I'm from Baltimore you said you was I ain't never seen you what part you on a got some family on The Alameda". All around me was people smoking, drinking, and just having a good time. "Yo Maya you remember in 9th grade when you had the biggest crush on Darrell", Garrett brought up causing everyone to laugh with him. "Remember you had a crush on me?", I fired back hearing oooooh's from everyone. "Yea and if I remember correctly those feelings were mutual", Garrett smirked. I laughed,"Ard bitch you got me with that one", I took the blunt out his hand and put it to my lips. "Remember 9th grade when we was beefing over Garrett", Savannah said laughing. I laughed shaking my head,"Nah nigga YOU was beefing over Garrett, I was beefing cause you was acting dumb", I reminded her. "Bae remember when you tried to get Maya and Tory to go out", Corey said nudging Savannah. She laughed while I groaned remembering that year. "It didn't matter anyway he was too in love with Asiya", I teased looking at Tory.
"Man shut that shit up", He said giving me the middle finger. "When?", I asked him with a smirk,"I'm free now", He retorted with a wink. I laughed shaking my head. "Maya remember when you swore up and down you was gonna book Sav", Nybia added in. I sighed looking up at the couple,"Yea but then I decided that would be disrespectful cause Corey is my mans." "You thought you was gonna book me huh?", Savannah said with a smirk. "Oh my god Nybia why would you bring that up you know how erky she is", I said laughing. "I'm erky but yet you liked me", she laughed. I flipped her the middle finger,"You apparently wanted to do that too", She said with a wink causing everyone to laugh. "Aw don't worry Maya if me and Corey ever break up you'll be the first one I go to", Savannah teased. I went into the house to get another drink when I felt somebody staring at me, I look up to see Tory,"What?", I asked mugging the shit out of him. "Imma miss you", he said causing me to snort,"Yea right", I said taking a sip of my drink. "Jasmine I'm serious", Tory said coming closer. "Imma miss you too", I whispered looking down. He wrapped his arms around my waist and I shivered,"You love me?", He asked. I nodded looking up,"You still love me?", I asked him. He looked me in the eyes and smiled,"Of course". I blushed and looked away. "And to think all we needed to get you to together again was a few blunts and Hennessy", Corey called out. I unwrapped Tory's arms from around my waist and backed up clearing my throat. "Shut that shit up", Tory yelled back. "I'm gonna go", I said awkwardly grabbing my drink. Before I could walk away he pulled me back to him and kissed me. I broke the kiss first pulling away biting my lip. "AWWWW", our friends yelled from outside. I rolled my eyes laughing,"Mind your business.", I told them. I went back outside to join them Tory following shortly after. That's how the rest of the night went, everyone sitting around laughing bringing up embarrassing stories about each other. "Imma miss y'all", I said as things started whining down. "Hoe I'm coming with you", Savannah laughed,"Yea and I go where she goes", Corey added. "I ain't talking bout y'all obviously. I'm talking bout the rest of y'all. Y'all my family. I love y'all", I admitted. "We love you too Jasmine", Garrett, Tory, and Nybia replied in unison. "Y'all gonna make me cry", I laughed,"Come here I want a group hug", I said getting up. We all hugged for 5 minutes in silence,"Fly High Jamal", Savannah said finally all us nodding in agreement. "Long Live Moses", I said with tears in my eyes. "Long live Moses", everybody's repeated.
