Hi. I'm (y/n). This is the first part of the story of how I got adopted multiple times, found myself, and found out that my bros were really my protectors. "All you useless creatures known as orphans get to the adoption room pronto!" Miss Smirt's voice boomed over the intercom. Sabrina and Daphne Grimm rolled their eyes. They were my closest friends at that Gods forsaken place. They had been there for two months before I came. Their parents had gone missing for nine months now. My older brother and my Mom had disappeared seven months ago (you are welcome for doing the math for you.). I wondered what their captor was doing to them at first. Now I just hoped the Gods helped them find me and a way out. They had been kidnapped. Nobody believed me when I said that a manticore with a harsh French accent took them. It sounds crazy, I admit. That didn't change the fact that that was the truth of what had happened.

I had ended up in a New York City orphanage even though I knew that my family was still alive. Me and the Grimm sisters walked down to the front room. I had on an oddly prepie looking sweater thing that I owned from my Mom along with cute skinny jeans and some black fax leather combat boots. I was glad I hadn't just worn my old pjs and came down not giving a schist because the two men who stood waiting to adopt a kid were hot and I knew them from my YouTube obsessed mind. It was Joey Graceffa and Daniel Preda. I fought back the urge to squeal and clicked and unclicked the writing pen my Mom had given me at age 10 when I first started writing. This had always calmed me down. It didn't work today. I bit down on my palm and jumped up and down with Daphne as the two of us squealed together. Joey busted up laughing and Daniel chuckled and smiled at the two of ours antics. The two of us calmed down a bit and smiled at them. Sabrina glared at them. Geez she hates people I thought as the couple backed away a bit as Sabrina pulled Daphne closer and held her down so she'd stop jumping. "These gentlemen want to adopt a young girl from the ages of nine to thirteen. If you don't fit these criteria, go to the bedroom and remain quiet." Ms. Smirt said in her calm, kind there-are-people-here-so-I'm-not-being-Umbridge voice. The boys and younger and older girls left. So did Daphne and Sabrina since Sabrina was only going to be with Daphne if they were to be adopted. I was just a year below the line by a few months since I turned thirteen on (y/bd) (I already am thirteen but I wanted Joey and Daniel to be you parents when you hit your teen years.) I watched the sisters Grimm leave.

"Mr.Graceffa and Mr.Preda aware going to ask you girls questions individually so all of you stay here. Come to the sitting room when the last person to go is finished and they call your name. Amilia. Come." Ms. Smirt said as she walked away. "It's Ameranda." The girl mumbled as she followed the severe looking woman and the boys. The other girls chatted while I sat in the bay window that looked down on the street. I plugged my cat ear headphones into my IPod.(look, if it's all I have, you're stuck with it to. This is typed on a semiancient Kindle Fire.)  I turned on death of a bachelor and let myself fall into a trance fueled by Brendon Urie' s beautiful voice.

I pulled off my headphones when the song ended. "She's such a freak!" I heard Drew say. (Sorry if your name is Drew. This part just reminds my of that horrible girl from HOO.) "I bet she's in her own little world dreaming about making out with Scorpius Malfoy!" Her friend replied giggling. "I found her 'fanfic journal' yesterday! Look at this trash! This chick writes herself in as this badgirl character and then just reveals a soft side. How cliche can you get?!" A third girl said. She showed them my golden journal with the cool tree designs on it. They died laughing when they read about my Zane x reader book. They cackled at the cheeseness. After they got to my Selection fanfic, I'd had enough. "You know, when there is such great literature in this world, there is only so much you can do with writing." I said bluntly as the continued to crack up.

"Sorry hun, but I think you mistook me for someone who cared. Nice outfit by the way, where did you get it? The trash?" Drew said as she laughed. I was seething with anger. "I look trashy? Good. I was trying to look like you today. Although, I missed the mark on the 'hey that guy doesn't already have a chick making out with him so I'll do it' look." I said as I smirked. Drew screamed in rage and slapped me across the face. I was not going to fight back. "No wonder your brother and mom left you." She said as she walked over to a chair next to the door. That snapped me.

I got up and grabbed my dagger from my pocket. I held the blade to her neck. "I don't care how rich and famous your parents were, how much money you get when you turn eighteen, or how many people can't see that you are a walking piece of schist. I will kill you here and now if you ever talk that way about my family or anyone else's ever again. Got it?" I said as I lowered my voice. Drews eyes went as wide as saucers and she nodded. "Good." I said as I removed the blade, while nicking her face just a bit as reminder to her and the others not to trifle with me. I glared menacingly at the others. They screamed, dropped my books, and ran to the corner with Drew.

About seven girls later I got called over to talk with Daniel and Joey. "Why hello there!" Joey said as I walked in and sat down. "Hi Joey and Daniel! Oh my gods. I think I'm dreaming. I never thought that I'd get to talk to you guys in person! I mean, Daniel replied to one of my comments once and I freaked out! Am I screaming? Sorry if I am but, this is one of my biggest dreams ever!" I rambled. They laughed. "You're screaming, but it's cool. I would be to if I met someone as fabulous as us." Daniel replied as he did a sassy hair flip. I gasped, "The hair flipps are even sassier in person!". They laughed.

"What is your favorite color?" Joey asked. "(F/c)." I replied. "Type of music?" Daniel asked. "Mostly rock, but I love basically everything." (This is the truth for me. Sorry if you don't like rock.) I said. "On a scale of one to ten, how crazy are you?" Joey asked. Odd question. "Nine or ten depending on my mood." I replied. "Are you bi, straight, or homo?" Joey asked. "Not really sure yet." I replied. I did like guys but sometimes I find myself fantasizing about chicks to. "Ok. Well, that's it." Joey said. "Get Drew, (y/n)." Ms. Smirt said. "Well, thanks and may the odds be ever in your favor. Goooooooooood Bye!" I said as I ran out the door. I heard Joey crack up as I left. I had just said one of his old outros. I smiled at the fact that I could make Joey laugh. Maybe I wasn't just a freakishly short, annoying, humorless potato after all! I sent Drew in.

After everyone had chatted with them, Ms. Smirt had us line up. "It was a hard choice. All of you are amazing kids! *cough except Drew cough*" Joey said. I laughed. Joey and Daniel saw through her act. Good. But, there was no way they would pick me. I'm short, nerdy, annoying, and a huge oddball. Even they weren't that crazy. "But, we picked (y/n) Jackson!" Daniel and Joey said together.

I was stunned. They picked me. Me! The short kid with average looks! "Ya. This is a dream. Stood up to Drew, got adopted by my YouTubers that I adore. I must be dreaming. That is the only explanation." I said out loud. This could not be real. "And my brother and mom will pop up in about three, two, one, now." I said. Nothing happend. "This is no dream (y/n). You are getting adopted by Janiel!"Joey exclaimed. "Did you just use our ship name to refer to the two of us?" Daniel asked. "Yes I did. Now, (y/n), go get your stuff. We're going back to L.A. tomorrow." Joey said. I ran up to my dad's and hugged them.

"But how am I going to talk to Sabrina and Daphne?" I asked. I didn't want to lose my two closest friends. "Who?" Dadiel (that means Daniel. And so does dad. Joey is daddy. There are no ways to turn Joey into a dad word play. Sorry.) asked. "My only friends here." I explained. "I will send them IPhones so they can talk to you." Daddy said. "I don't have an IPhone though and my IPod only works with a WiFi source." I said. Joey grinned and handed me a small box. I opened it. An IPhone7 sat inside. I squealed and hugged them again. "I'm gonna go tell them!" I exclaimed.

I ran up to the room where everyone slept. Daphne and Sabrina sat on our beds and waited for me. "Joey and Daniel adopted me!" I screamed. Daphne and I jumped up and down. "How will we talk to you?" Sabrina asked. She might be mean on they outside,  but once she welcomes you into her heart, you can never get her to let go. "Did I not mention they are buying you both IPhones so we can chat?" I asked. They both squealed then. I hugged them as they helped me gather my few belongings and we said our goodbyes.

I was finally out.

A/n: Hey. I have a Joey Graceffa problem as you know, so I created this book. I love these guys. Please don't replace your brother or mom with a name. I left the family bit vague because of the plot plan I have.

MEGAN OUT!!!!!!!<3
