Clary's P.O.
Demons. That's all I saw as a stood,fighting alongside my friends, Isabelle, Alec, Jace, and Simon. There were a ton of them and we were surrounded. I had just finished off 2 shax Demons when I heard Jace scream my name "CLARY LOOK OUT!!!" He warned,but it was to late. There was already another demo on top of me. The demon was in my face,dripping burning yellow venom on my skin. The demon spread its wings,lifting me in the air,I tried to fight it off but it was to late,the demon dropped me out of its claws. "CLARY!!!!!" My friends cried. And that was the last thing I heard before total darkness surrounded me.
Jace's P.O.V
As I finished off the last dahak demon, I heard Clary scream. I I looked around but didn't see her until I looked up to see a demon had her in its claws. Before I could even react, the demon dropped Clary to the ground "CLARY!!" I screamed and sprinted over to her as fast as I could. When I made it to Clary,she was unconscious, I picked her up and took her back to the institute, away from all the chaos. As I ran I turned to see Simon,Alec and Izzy trailing close behind.
*At The Institute*
It had been 5 hours and even after 3 healing runes Clary was still not awake yet. Simon and I had both been sitting in her room, waiting impatiently for her to wake. after a while of just sitting there,lied my head down on the bed next to Clary's hand and closed my eyes. "Jace" Simon called and my head shot up "yeah?" I answered. "get some sleep,you've been up forever" he told me and i shook my head "no,I'm fine" I told him and he shook his head "you know Clary wouldn't want you torturing yourself like this" he insisted. I sighed in defeat "fine,but I'm not leaving her side" I said and Simon nodded and backed off. Once again,I lied my head down next to Clary's hand,closed my eyes and drifted off into a much needed sleep.
