I never know that he adores Bruno M.

He just did his rendition of Just the way you are, while holding my hands throughout the song.

E di ako na ang mahaba ang buhok. Na sa pagkahaba-haba nito ay para bang gusto akong kalbuhin ng mga babae.

Katakot talaga ang mga tingin nila sa akin.

Mabuti na lang at natapos ang kanta ni Mico ay pumanaog na kami sa stage. Habangako kinakabahan sa mga tingin ng mga babae ay ang kasama ko naman ay in his usual mode,the snobbish mode.

“As usual Phoebe, you’re a performer”, napalingon ako sa nagsalita. Then I saw Jenica. She seems praising me but still I can’t feel her sincerity.

Kasama niya ang ibang kasama niya sa tindahan nina Mico who are now busy trying to engage Mico into a conversation.

“Thanks” simpleng tugon ko sa kanya. I am feeling something about her pero ayaw ko namang maging bastos after all. I am in their territory.

“Good thing that Mico brought you here”, I didn’t expect her to initiate a chit-chat with me since she seems so aloof with me after the audition incident.

Yes, she civil but distant. Maybe she’s just being nice since kinakausap ng mga kasama niya si Mico.

“This is kinda unexpected” nasabi ko na lang sa kanya. I really don’t know what had gotten into me at parang naging uncomfortable ako sa kanya unlike before.

“So you already meet the dreaded Montalbo brothers?”

“Yeah and their kinda nice”, medyo natigilan ako sa word na ginamit ko. I am lying because Tito este Sir Rex is way too far for being a nice one.

“Well good for you. Yet I am not surprise I know you can allure any guy you want”, napatingin ako sa sinabi niya. She just sound so sarcastic to me.

“Don’t get me wrong. What I am just saying is you can stand with everybody because of your friendliness”, she stated defiantly.

Hindi na lang ako kumibo. Defending who I am in front of a person who doesn’t know me personally is useless.

Kaya tumahimik na lang ako.

“Can I have her now?”, maya-maya ay narinig kong sabi ni Mico sa tabi ko.

There is something odd on Jenica’s expression when she is looking into Mico.

“Ya-yeah sure”, napatingin ako kay Jenica. Why did she just stammer? Weird.

“Let’s go”, yaya sa akin ni Mico saka kinuha ang isa kong kamay.
