I opened my eyes to see that it was still dark. I looked over to my alarm clock to see that it was 5:30AM. I groaned and rolled back over so I could
try and get more sleep before I have to go into work. I closed my eyes for a second before I heard my bedroom door creak open. My eyes shot open. A wave of fear flowed through my body. I didn't dare to look over my shoulder to see if there was a serial killer standing behind me. I decided to collect myself and try to reassure myself that I locked up the house before going to bed.
" Alright Taylor you can do this there is nothing to be afr-" My thoughts were quickly interrupted when A big crack of lightning lit up the morning sky. I nearly jumped out of my skin. Next thing I knew a very heavy weight jumped on top of me.
"AHHHHHH!" I screamed and flung whatever jumped on top of me and jumped back till my back was pressed up against my headboard. I quickly reached to turn on my light switch. I saw a very angry cat on the floor.
"OSCAR! You scared me half to death!" I yelled at my cat. I placed my hand over my heart, trying to calm myself down. I grabbed my phone off the nightstand and decided I would play some panda pop until I could fall back asleep.
I woke back up to the sun shining in through my curtains. I sat up slowly and stretched my arms out. I threw the covers off me and got ready for work. I made my way out of my room and to the kitchen I poured myself a cup of coffee and grabbed my keys of the table. I locked my door behind me and made my way to work.
The walk was short. I could see through the window Jordan was taking the order of an old couple. I worked at GORDOS KITCHEN. I walked in and smiled at the customers as I walked through and back to the kitchen.
"Morning taylor , how was your doctor's appointment yesterday?" Jordan asked giving me a warm smile.
" Well it went well they finally got my results back." I said while Putting my apron on.
" Well what are your results?" He questioned. My face kind of dropped remembering what the doctor told me.
" You don't have to tell me , Taylor it's okay." He said reassuringly.
" No , no its okay." I said putting on a sad smile.
" The doctor told me I have a very rare strand of cancer , it is 1 in million percent chance that someone can get it , and I lucked out I guess. " I said in a whisper. Jordan didn't say anything he stopped what he was doing and gave me a hug. I hugged him back.
" Everything will be fine Gordo. " I said pulling away. I went to wash my hands.
" Hey Taylor if you want you can take the day off. " Jordan said.
" Thanks for the offer but I enjoy cooking , it has been my dream ever since I was a kid." I said.
" That's what I like to here!" Jordan said with excitement. He went back to doing what he was doing. I finished washing my hands and started making orders.
~ 10hrs Later~
I hung my apron up and gathered my things and headed out waving goodbye to Jordan. I started down the street. A cold wind blew past me making me shiver. I had this strange feeling in the pit of my stomach. I tried to ignored and continued to walk. I took a glance behind me and saw a man in a black trench coat walk out of the ally. He had his head down so I couldn't see his face. He started to walk towards me. I hurried and snapped my head back around and walked faster. Almost running. A van whipped around the corner. A big guy jumped out and grabbed me!
" AWHWHWHWH! GET OFF ME!" My scream was muffled by a rag. I started to get tired. MY vision started to blur. The last thing I heard was ,
" AYE Vinny be careful with the test subject! " An angry harsh voice shouthed.
